This is the best homeless day center by far in Santa Barbara. You can do your laundry, get haircuts, use their computer, they have wifi, they feed you, and you can just lounge around and socialize and more. Staff here are super friendly and helpful. One of the best day centers I've ever been to, definitely the best stop in Santa Barbara.

I frequent Father Virgil's a couple of times a month, it is great!
The people there are really pleasant and helpful.
Breakfast to good also, I have never had lunch there, but I bet it also excellent.

Best day center I've had the honor of being in. Free haircut with hair wash and beard trim. Help with trimming your toenails if you're in need of that. Large number of lounge chairs to relax in and if you wish you could even take a nap in. Always have excellently prepared hot food served twice a day, (breakfast and lunch), by the most genuine of caring and friendly folk. Nearly unlimited coffee that is made correctly. Free clothes washer and dryer. Use of a phone if needed. A secure location for locking up your bike if needed. They provide a mailing address if you need one. Use of a craft table loaded with craft supplies. Use of a desktop computer or laptop to conduct business online if you have any. Everyone on staff is professional and respectful. By far this one is a fully functional, well thought out gem of an island amid a sea of mostly dysfunctional and occasionally unhelpful homeless services that are available in the Santa Barbara area . Love you all.
