Not enough social workers. They have been hiring data input people through The Resource that only assist making sure you have applications in. But no real workers were available to discuss my eligibility for help. Since Covid, workers are barely in office spaces here. Most only work remotely. Which makes getting in touch with workers harder.

Terrible people the automated system doesn't help anybody people do not want to do their jobs when they answer the phone a woman hung up on me and had a bad attitude if you don't want to work for a call center quit but what you don't do is make other people feel worse when all they're trying to do is get help for things and they're already feeling bad in their life

Everybody that answers the phone has a nasty attitude I think that’s a requirement to answer calls. But the actual case workers are nice, i’ve actually started asking for my caseworkers phone numbers directly just so I don’t have to go off on any of the customers service reps.

Anytime you leave a message or they tell you they're going to give you a call back they never do. Like if you tell someone you're going to call them back in 30 minutes DO IT. These services are important, and they act like it isn't.

This company is the worst when trying to get assistance with food! Not only that we have been waiting for our food stamps for going over 2 weeks after the fact that they say they lost our paperwork for recertification...did a whole new application called and called giving the run around...now it seems like everyone is in a meeting. It's sad that people here in this company really don't care about middle class folk

This review is for the Food Stamp Department's customer service. The woman who answered my call was shockingly rude and completely unhelpful. Her demeanor was so dismissive that it brought me to tears by the end of our conversation.

Throughout the call, she seemed disinterested in my concerns, didn't listen to what I was trying to explain, and even made sarcastic remarks that she found amusing. It's baffling to me how someone with such a lack of empathy and professionalism, is still employed in a role that deals directly with people in need of assistance.

It's disheartening that when individuals like myself are reaching out for crucial resources, we are met with such disrespect and disdain. I intend to update this review with her name once I find out, as her behavior should not go unnoticed or unchecked. This experience has left me feeling invalidated and further in need of support, rather than providing the assistance I sought.

The treatment I received was unacceptable. Social services should be a pillar of support and compassion, especially for those already facing challenges. This encounter has unfortunately underscored a serious issue within this department that needs immediate attention and resolution.
