Why should we have to pay for taxes if the sign in the store clearly says “personal organization” which means they don’t have to pay for taxes. Why does there store even have “Helping” in the name when they tax charge the shit out of you

Great place to drop on and say hello to some of our long-timers and catch a great that on return will help someone in need in our community. They have sales all the time like "fill a bag for $3-5) or certain things 1/2 off depending on day or week I guess...but I have found some good deals in past, I'll share a couple...fyi...I like vintage and antiques..soooo

I have seen these people at work. They volunteer their time, talents and I think they go out of their way to try and completely satisfy the needs of every person that is seeking help for what ever reason. The thrift store is nice and hidden treasures are found here on occasion. Needs are met all the time. What a blessing to have this resource with such devoted and caring individuals in our community. I have donated my whole shed. It's funny to see your things there for a reasonable price for the people and the free things out side ...I got some beautiful slippers? washed them and they looked ed brand new ..I really love the people...but being a thrif

Wonderful people. It's so nice to know there are still good people in this world helping others, especially in times like this. HELP is a food pantry from a church based contribution. I want to tell you I think these people are like angels themselves. When you come here for the first time, they welcome you, they treat you as their best friend. Not once do they make you feel inferior. It's a great organization and so well thought out. Collections from the church are collected & I believe a certain percentage goes towards the food pantry. Monies purchase foods that are sometimes matched by the suppliers as contributions as well. Then other suppliers donate goods that have flaws or might be close to expiration date. People/families come to apply for food and after being approved on a financial basis, they get a variety of foods, fruits, veggies, bread, egg & combination of donated goods. They also have a Thrift Store adjacent to them that also supports proceeds for food for the food pantry. Staff is all volunteers. Donations are always welcome.
