Definitely check out this library in Flossmoor.. the aquarium is on the second floor. Also checkout their special events such as "May the 4th be with you" Star wars theme and other special events for everyone. As for the private rooms I advise to call or come in person to get a spot. It's busy even on Sundays, there's also games, DVDs, music manga novels etc

Was comfortable and quiet. The staff was very friendly and helpful. And they didn't brother me when I was in quiet room. And they gave me 6hrs and other libraries that I experience gave me only 2hrs and said I had to wait a hour and no one was there to get the space I had. Will bring my children as well to this library love it..

They let mentally ill and homeless do whatever they want. I was on a phone call and was quite not disturbing anyone and some old lady started raising her voice saying I cannot talk on the phone. When the librarian came over to calm her down she was loud saying she was going to call the police!!! SMDH FLOSSMOOR has Changed!!!

Went in today at 4:55pm to scan in two documents to my email, one being 3 pages & the other 2 pages, & the entire machine was off so I had to turn everything on. This took at least 3-4 minutes. The library was closing & this librarian starts hovering over me, standing there watching my every move.. RUDE.
Then it’s like 5:01 when she says “Some people have family to get home to”. I just ignored her comment. RUDE again.
I sent to upload my second document (still 5:01) & she almost launched herself at me, saying the library is closed & I can’t do that.
I told her I wouldn’t be here still if I didn’t have to reboot the machine. She says they shut everything off at 4:45pm.. Then started calling for a manager.
At 5:02 I was out of there.
So completely RUDE. Aren’t librarians supposed to be welcoming & helpful?

This library is fantastic! The librarians are always super accommodating and if they don’t have something you want, they’ll find it for you elsewhere with ease. They have great kids programs as well. It is walking distance to many schools in the area so it is perfect for an after school homework session!

Flossmoor library has all the latest equipment you can use the computers if you have a library card for free. They have study rooms a scanner that scans your documents either to someone via email or to yourself via email. They have a copy machine the people that work there are always nice and I just love coming to this Library.

I would give it a 5 but the youth area is sort of week especially for 0-3 yrs. For such a huge library I would expect they have more space to play and learn. They have A TON OF BOOKS but for younger children they learn through play!
