The lines are a part of life. But how they have it set up is insane. There are two different lines. One for appointments and one for walk-ins I guess. Anyway there are three people working and most of the time they are talking with each other and just wasting time. They need two people on appointment line and two for walk-ins. Cause the logic they are using to see people is severely flawed. But I forgot it's a government office so chaos and stupidity is at an all time high.

Be careful with these people they will lie and steal. And make sure if they hold you up for hours have your receipts of them making you wait so long and not helping as they should. These people will lie and have the state back them up when they know they’re wrong. If you can sue do so. These people are disgusting and don’t help as they should then blame you for you being behind.

Can't call. Caused there automated system is horrible. Tells you to call back cause they are busy. No ability to wait or get a call back. Horrible system. And they changed the online portal now it can't find my account. They lost my account.

Supervisor Rhonda Jackson has poor treatment and service towards her workers and clients, lacking professional ethics. She speaks to them in an inappropriate, derogatory and loud manner in front of everyone in the office, thus lacking professional ethics, generating an inappropriate environment in the place. Measures must be taken in this regard so that the treatment and efficiency in the place also improve. This cannot be allowed in a public government office in our country.

If this is the powers drive location, then this review is for that location. Went there today with my grandma. Glad we got services done, despite of the rudeness from the woman who attended us in room 5. She couldn’t tell me more details of what I should be expecting next when I asked her. Then, she kept telling me to help my grandmother out to get up and get out as if this woman was in a rush. I’m not going to rush my grandmother out when she has a messed up knee, and is 72 years old. Other than that this woman has no idea who I am, for her to be telling me what to do. I’m a 30 year old woman (not a child) who knows the ropes on caring for my own relative. So, I would not like to be treated as a child. Where does mutual respect, compassion, and understanding for one another lie here especially if you’re working for government assistance? My grandmother wanted her own independence and did not want me to help her get up. She is at an elderly stage where she doesn’t know her physical limitations and I have to observe for falls and help as necessary, not take over completely. Very displeased with the service here, but all in efforts to get done what I needed to do for my grandmother today.

Ok so for one thank u for helping me but I'm not so happy Ive been calling customer service for a while and getting no where, I called Friday to add my newborn and the lady was keep on putting me on hold over a hour talking to her and all she really was saying is "one minute can I please put u on hold for a brief moment so I can look over the case" and then adding additional people when I wanted to add my daughter and ask/fix a couple things since I finally got someone. I for one had to cancel my appointment for my daughter today because clearly she messed up or something happened. I've also contacted the worker but I get no where. I have no idea what she did, nothing changed online. So today I started to call 8am this morning sep 6 between getting hung up on and me having to call back multiple times I've been on the phone for over 4 hours today just with DCF customer service. Something needs to change, to make it a little easier for mother and father's to call in for the newborn and everything else. It's crazy. I hope their is a chance to this phone issue. I'm on the phone right now still waiting 2 hours and 30+ mins

I just moved here a month ago, I applied so that my stuff would be transferred from Ohio and submitted everything that was requested and waited a month for it to be denied because it said we didn’t provide our income. When I called about it the woman I spoke to on the phone helped me and said she seen all of our documentation in the system and wasn’t sure why the case was denied. Now here I am on hold for 3 hours currently to try and talk with a supervisor. I can care less about anything for myself. But my 3 year old needs medical care and I can’t even get her in anywhere because we don’t have insurance and cannot afford the bills out of pocket…praying they get this corrected
