Went to the food bank in a time of need and was turned away at the door. I was told I had to be on a list, to leave and call . I've been calling continually and have yet to get anyone to answer the phone. I watched people leaving with so many groceries piled up in carts that I couldn't imagine it all being used before going bad. Better management of their resources is a definite issue in my opinion. It hurt my family to not get help when we really needed it and watch others have more than they could use

Great food pantry! If they won't let you get food since covid... volunteer up there... They'll usually let you get food if you do...wink, wink, nudge, nudge. Thanks, Fish Net! P.S. Do you have any 500lbs bags of potatoes? My starch intake is low.

The volunteers are very nice and helpful. The food they give you is in a shopping cart to be pushed to your vehicle by you and it can weigh almost 250 lbs and there is a slope so be careful. The line starts filling up every Tues and Thursday (the days they provide food) around 4 am. They open at 5am and close the door at 6 am. At this time, they're not taking any new clients but are still serving as long as you'd been there in the last 6 months. Be sure to thank the volunteers. They show up for free.

I waited outside for 3 hours and my aunt and I was turned away because we had not been there in 6 months. So sad . Especially because they had more than enough for everyone.
