We were told that our story wasn't believeable and we can't possibly that stupid. They made me and my three children feel so small, and like we were monsters. They made us feel guilty about my veteran husband dying five weeks ago, and didn't believe it until I showed them the news article. The kept telling me I don't need or want help, just a lazy handout. They then told me there are no jobs and I will never be able to afford 950 in rent as a traveling med aide. I was then told I would not answer my phone for them if they called. When they called, I was talking to Phoebe house about a place to stay for the night. I called back immediately and never heard anything since. Despite the desperate attempts to call back and leave messages. This place doesn't help families, they make you feel like garbage and everything is your fault.

This place really helps people. Nothing like other organizations that pretend to look good on paper. Don't hesitate to donate to keep the support for a higher cause. Anything can happen to anyone anytime. The director is a very outstanding person who devotes real time and energy. It's amazing how they help people. The donors and volunteers are regular people with big hearts. Super hero's to those in need.
