They're not as cheap as people think.... I've been seeing their bikes for sale on Craigslist and frankly it's a rip off. Pretty sure those bikes were donated for free.... So I urge people to look up prices of similar bikes and I hope they can get some grants soon because if they're doing it to cover rent costs then there needs to be another way :/

The Bike Kitchen in Eureka is a wonderful volunteer space where I have learned bike maintenance skills to share with others and fix my own bike. They have a large range of tools specific for bicycles and lots of used parts too. If you frequent the shop, you can find a decent low cost bicycle for sale. The Eureka Bike Kitchen is a friendly space and all time favorite of mine.

They have all sorts of bike parts and used bikes for sale. You can join and work on your own bike. They have volunteers who can assist you with your project.
