An unexpected delight! We were passing through and on a whim opted to stop in. Delicious cheese curds, locally made jams, sausages, etc. available for purchase. And the ice cream/ soft serve is wonderful! Worth a stop!!!

What a bit of luck! We were in the area and learned that we were 20 minutes from the cheese curd capital of Wisconsin. How can you pass that up? I would certainly go out of my whey for this opportunity. The hickory bacon was my favorite. Blueberry bacon curd bratwurst? What an imagination these folks have. I'm just sorry the fried cheese curd food truck wasn't open.

You drive forever and then you go to this little town and right smack in the middle of this little town is the wonderful amazing gigantic Ellsworth creamery! Cheese curd Capital that's for sure! Plus a bazillion more delicious cheeses you could ever want! super friendly lots of fun!

This shop is smaller than the one in Menomonie, but is no less wonderful. There’s a great variety of food goods and kitchen tools, most in a Wisconsin theme. There are all kinds of jellies, jams, sauces, popcorn savory and sweet, pretzels and chips, New Glarus beer and liquors all sorts, fudge, cookies, and of course, cheese galore. You could swim through curds like Uncle Scrooge through his money bin. There are various size packages of standard curds, from 2 ounces to 5 pounds, plus lots of flavors. During our visit, they had a table of samples out with a pin board on which people could vote for their favorite. A long wall of coolers holds pizzas, diverse cheeses, and local sausages. Really, there’s something for everyone here.

Extended summer hours until Labor Day! An incredible gem - worth the trip to try the freshest cheese curds ever. Soft, warm, and squeaky - you just can’t get them this incredible except at the source. Along with a mix of all things Wisconsin - beer, pizza, and cheese! Try the unique flavored soft serve as well. Special secret: just to the left of the registers is a freezer case. Grab some frozen beer battered curds and deep fry them at home (about two minutes). An extra treat!

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!!!! from artisan crafted cheese boards to salsas to, of course, CHEESE CURDS, this place has it all. LITERALLY. worth a detour on your next drive--make sure to stop for some goodies!
