Rude staff, did not help AT ALL, just got real smart and mouthy thru email! These ppl lie and do not help. They will lead you on then ghost you once they’ve been caught in a lie or actually can’t help like they say they would but don’t want to say it to you directly. I’ve been calling, emailing, texting and working with Michelle/Tanya since Oct. and they sent me forms to fill out for intake,housing, and jobs to make the transition easier for Dec since I still had a little time. One supposedly got sick, then all communication stopped. I received No emails back when I emailed, no calls, no voicemails, no text for over 2 1/2 months! I called in Oct because I knew my offender didn’t get released til Jan 2024 so no need to move in in Oct. just get things situated. I finally get a response 12/20/23 saying they have no space and instead of finding somewhere else for me to go since they failed to communicate properly or in a timely manner, they gave me 20 different numbers to call and figure it out on my own. With 10 days left in the month and my offender being released within 20days. They wasted my time, did not help, had some rude ghetto acting woman with an attitude named Kenya call because I requested the owner of operations or managers number and email. She kept swearing I was “oh so confused” and because I am medicated, it doesn’t sound urgent to her & go to Salvation Army, so when I explained and once that didn’t fly it was “oh well sorry we have no space” sent a ghetto n email saying “first of all, nobody promised you nothing and whoever can call me”. If I was confused why send intake forms, applications and etc back in October, ignore me after SEVERAL CALLS, text and emails? The most lying , ignorant organization I’ve applied to yet! if you need help, don’t bother! You’ll be called confused bc they lie. Even though I have screenshots, calls are recorded and emails. Being afraid for your life isn’t enough. I guess the offender has to be in your face before this DV office decide to help if they ever answer. They wouldn’t answer because they didn’t want the recorded calls heard /reviewed.
