I too, would rate this establishment zero stars. Very one-sided and unprofessional. Contrary to their claim, they do not care a bit about restoring relationships between child and parent. They provide biased “therapy” couched in pious prayer, without understanding the full, true dynamics and demographics of personal situations and the people they are “counseling”. After thoroughly brain-washing my daughter, they finally allowed a joint meeting, promised in their lofty literature, only to have my once bright and confident daughter look to Terri, incapable of answering any question without Terri's input. At the end of the session in which we were seeking reconciliation, Terri said to me, "well, that was all about you, wasn't it?" Not a reconciliatory statement to say the least. They form their own opinions without actually meeting and speaking with all parties involved. I tried, for weeks to get a call back, and went ignored. It’s nearly impossible to reach anybody by phone even when you leave a message. All emails are ignored. All texts are ignored. False statements about my diagnosis were put on my portal and when I called to refute the inappropriate post, the secretary was very nervous. The next day my portal was down. I really wish I had taken some screen shots - it would have given me lawsuit material. Terri has rewired my daughter's brain to think repentance and confession are not necessary. Christ tells us over and over that we are to confess and repent - NONE may expect pardon in Heaven without it. Terri has sent my daughter to Hell with her counseling.

We have received professional and passionate counseling at The El Rophe Center. The care and concern has gone above and beyond our expectations. Family values are so very important to their professional staff. Caring, compassion and thoughtfulness is always evident and is the foundation of their unconditional love. Our counselor has such patience and a creative environment encouraging opportunities for healing. She is sensitive to her clients' needs, she has understanding of what it will take to heal those hurts. She leads focusing on healing now and possibilities that might come forward in the future. I met with Dr. Langston at El Rophe when I was facing some very difficult family crises, and am so thankful I found her! She was extremely kind and empathetic, but also very knowledgeable in the psychiatric field and behavioral science. She guided me through a maze of issues with patience and compassion, even staying over my allotted time if she felt it was beneficial to me, never charging extra. I will ever be grateful for her professional expertise and caring heart!

My wife has grown so much in going to El Rophe over the past few years. The counselors have always been available, even on short notice, and are very caring. Also knowledgeable! This has been one of the best things for my wife (she would say so, too). El Rophe is a blessing!

I wish I could give no stars. Terri ruin the last chance I had to save my marriage.

In November of 2020 I finally got my husband to agree to counseling. He was very hesitant to do it at all. The appointment was to be held through zoom. Terri was 15 minutes late to the session which infuriated my husband. My husband told her many lies and she interrupted me each time I tried to explain or clarify or give my side at all. He said he wanted a divorce and she asked HIM if there was any chance of reconciliation (never asked me what I wanted) and he said no. So she basically ended the session. And that was that. He was working on a separation agreement the next week. It was our last chance and she basically put the last nail in the coffin. I've held off writing this review for over half a year thinking I could be more objective over time, but it's no use.

If you could leave a review with no stars, I would. They totally destroyed the relationship between my granddaughter, her mother and her brother. Truly appears that they are not at all interested in keeping families together and most definitely cannot recognize a coached child. But then again, it's entirely possible they chose to ignore that fact for certain acquaintances. In the case of my granddaughter, they only addressed allegations made by the family who has been trying for years to completely remove all remnants of my granddaughter's maternal family from her life. Joint custody was never enough for her paternal family. Now my grandson is upset every day because he misses his sister. My granddaughter has no relationship with her newborn sister. There are two sides to every story but now, since they only listened to one side and refused to bring everyone in for family sessions, another child loses half of her family. They ONLY care about catering to the desires of the party paying the bill, or who may go to the same church. In my opinion, this child now needs a forensic interview.

I found myself in a similar situation to "Dawn", when I first came to El Rophe Center. I almost walked out because of the Counselor being late for my very first Couples & Family Counseling session a few months ago. Then I realized that her delay was because El Rophe was so accomdating, that they were seeing my family after the regular business hours to fit our schedules! The El Rophe Center for counseling is AMAZING if you are searching for a counselor that not only listens to all sides (especially with couples/family counseling), but relates to you, empathizes with you and challenges you at the same time within your Christian Faith, to find the RESOLUTIONS for whatever may have brought you in!!! So glad that I continued with Sydney and El Rophe Center!! #BlessedByGOD

I have been going to El Rophe for 3 years, and have met with both Terri Robinson and Sidney Langston. Highly recommend them both! Their wisdom and work with me have benefitted me greatly. This was not the first counseling office I went to, but I don't feel the need to find anywhere else-- I am very happy with their service and truly can't say enough excellent things.
