They never know anything when it comes to people and they do not help when people really need the help. They aren’t open to the whole community only the people they choose to help. Unfortunately, when people need help they do not provide resources or support. When people are undocumented they deny all services. Yet, I am sure they are supposed to be trained to provide information and resources to all the members of the community. People are not supposed to be part of their cases in order to provide resources. When people aren’t part of their cases they can always refer people not just deny them services or be rude about it. It is called “Centro de Ayuda”. Which translates to center of help in Spanish. People think it is really a help center and sadly it is not what they do. The members of the community cannot be dismissed only because they are undocumented. Boyle heights is a Chicano/Mexican-American neighborhood. People should really consider all members of the community and remember their training. Treat everyone with respect and empathy because that is the main point of their training and what they’re supposed to do.

This place is great. Here, they'll help you from filling out a job application, to fighting for you when a company sends you to collection. A close friend of mine recommended this place and I definitely recommend it to everyone who needs this type of services and others. Everyone here are professionals, honest, and always willing to help. Thank you guys at El Centro de Ayuda. You guys helped me a lot.

They offer so many services at no cost to you, they refer you program that allow to waive your bills in case of unmployment, low income, they also program for teenagers and adults, computer classes and ESL.
