Yes I have dealt with social services in edgecome. There have been many bad reviews about then, and I somewhat agree. The problem I see is that is nobody is in complete charge. Nobody keeps track of the daily task, and audits the employees. Instead of talking crap about this place let's all call Raleigh and have the office reviewed
Everyone does work, maybe not as fast as we want. But the work gets done. Theres alot of people in Edgecombe, we can't always expect to be first on everything. Thank God for the good things he has given you, and pray for those who we think may do us wrong. The employees at S.S. are a till human and should be treat as such. If you have Issue with them ask for someone in charge, file your grievance and see where we it goes. If that doesn't work the call the Raleigh office and file a true complaint. Do it the proper way in paperwork. Remember we are all human, don't spread hate, spread love. The world needs it. Thank you.

This has to be the worst social service I ever seen I did a ebt application in December an I still haven't heard anything back I've called left a thousand messages an then when I finally talk to someone they told me they behind a mouth I said it's Been almost five months I haven't heard or received a notice of denial or approval u mean to tell mecit take almost 5 months for that am these people get paid top dollar for its the one the state needs to takeover.

Don't see how they are getting paid to do their jobs when they clearly don't. They don't know how to answer calls or return calls. Been going around with then for almost 5 months and still haven't gotten anywhere with them. Guess I gotta go up there to get anything done

Wish I could give this place zero stars they are rude, unprofessional,and lastly they don't care bout anyone but themselves. they always have a attitude and never want to fully explain anything. Absolutely a very unprofessional environment with people who don't want to do their jobs.

I think i have no other choice but to file a complaint with the board. This place is very unprofessional I have gotten hung up on, phones are never answered. Always being sent to voicemail never get a call back. Im tired of going in circles with this place. This is very unprofessional, especially for families who are in need of help.

Good morning.. Did you that 2,000 families in Edgecombe County lack of foodstamps, leaving families unable to feed their children. Why Because a worker in training and the supervisor not signing off. Expect crimes to rise do to poor people being hungry.
