My name is Sean. Was there in Waxhaws 11 months from 2000-2001. Definitely was a good experience. Unfortunately later in life I made some mistakes but I definitely learned a lot from that camp and really enjoyed a lot about it. Wish I could reconnect to some of the people who were there with me.

Where are my 2000-2005 campers ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ I was on the girls side , I was a KIOWA. Honestly, I had a freaking blast there ! Chief JAMIE, I still think about ya all these years later ! I let loose in the worst ways possible, and always showed out in the chuck wagon with my girls . Jamie was always my go to, What a time. That was definitely a life experience ๐Ÿซถ๐Ÿฝ it was impactful

I see All the campers and myself I was a camper in the great state of Vermont, let me tell you a huddle up when it's 14 below zero wasn't something I would wish on my worst enemy. Yet as kid we would have to sit there and talk about it... until someone solved their problems. The Green mountains turned many young boys into men in a few years. Jack Ekard, I don't know if he was a genius or a sociopath...

I donโ€™t know what this place is now but legit gives me war flashbacks. Iโ€™m up right now at 4am from another e ku summe nightmare 17 years later in my life. Im definitely successful now (above average in fact) but the camp didnโ€™t do that for me. Just taught me how to fight and do drugs by being exposed to others that did those things. Got frost bite so bad I almost had to get my foot amputated. Will say it turned me into a man. Like marines without the honor /respect / purpose. I just think about some of the stuff they got away with back then. The Chiefs were as criminal as the kids sometimes. I give it 2 not 1 because the โ€œmomsโ€ were some of the best cooks Iโ€™ve ever come across in my life to date.

I was old school at E Ku Sumee! I was there from June of 88 til Sept of 89. I runaway from home cause of my Step-dad and the courts had no where else to send me. It was a pretty cool place
I entered a Sequoia and Graduated Mahetues! Learned alot of good life lessons! Just don't start anything and you won't get thrown into a huddle.

My rap I created from 2007-2008 when I was there. Co-ed females group Mahetus

Walking on trails , roscos on my feet
Just got to camp E-ku-sumee
Met an MC
She was talking to my mom
Went to my group , they was cleaning out a bomb
I said to myself.. this camp aint for me,
Can't wait till the day that this is history,
Been here for a month, throwing mad problems, standing in a huddle , now it's time to resolve'em, getting feedback, I'm understanding what they saying, time to grow up, no more time for playing, got on my goals kept doing real good , and now I'm bout to leave just the way I should, now I'm on my stool, jays on my feet, bout to leave camp- e-ku-sumee .

This camp was really helpful for changing me into a better person . Mahhheetuuus.

I couldn't stand the nursery rhymes tho in chuckwagon. *no stars. * food 100 stars . Moms could cooooookkk
