Decent prices and good sales on color tags. A lot of nice and almost new products and old products. It was organized neatly and lots of cashiers who are friendly. I just wish that they had a separate section for shoes instead of putting it near the clothes in a basket.

I've only been here twice, though staff seemed well organized, efficient, and polite. The cashier made note of my large purchase of clothing and informed me of their loyalty program which already has saved me some money.

Pants are hung in a strange manner, though it allows you to quickly double check the size. Most clothing appears to be 7.99 unless it's on a tag sale. At least one stall for trying clothing has a broken latch, so the place could maybe use a few repairs.

Between clothing and goods, it can be hit or miss getting damaged items, so give everything a good lookover. Some clothing was torn in places I thought made it unusable. One of the nerf blasters I nearly bought was broken. A coffeemaker I bought was about half the price for a used one online, but turned out to be on it's death bed. Thankfully they have a 2 day return policy for electronics, and I was given a refund.

To their credit, the broken Nerf blaster and coffeemaker were both uncommon models that you wouldn't know were broken unless you knew their specific operation beforehand.

Prices keep getting higher for used beat up stuff. They have way too many DVDs, because they want $2.49 each and many are scratched. I looked up several items while I was there that I can get cheaper online new. The store isn't as good as it used to be. They say it's because of inflation but that doesn't explain why the prices are cheaper elsewhere brand new.

I went here yesterday while making a trip to wake forest. I thought this place was awesome, and so well priced. A lot of thrift stores have let their prices go completely out of control.This one not only had good prices but had good merchandise.

I've been coming here frequently for several years and have always loved interacting with employees--they are very nice! The store is always kept very nice and I love the carts. But recently prices have really gotten out of hand on clothing items, especially shoes. $29 for a pair of well used shoes is excessive and I feel like who ever is managing pricing has gotten greedy. You can still find reasonable pricing in the house wares. I find myself coming here less and less as I can no longer find the deals I used to and I find the pricing unfair.

Edit: went back today to see if feedback was listened to but it was ignored. $50 on vases and pairs of boots. $140 on a walker that could be used to help the elderly. It’s shameful. The math ain’t matching when goodwill raises prices 30 cents, Durham raises it 20 dollars. I feel like they are googling every item in order to try to out smart one or two resellers but they’re only hurting themselves and those who need it most. I will no longer be shopping here nor donating any longer. I encourage others to donate to ministries like Dorcas where prices are not greed based and your money still goes to good work.

Inflation is no excuse to price used items more than new items
I understand the mission behind this place sure. But you’re getting completely free USED items and pricing them just as high as new non used items. Sometimes even higher than new items. We can talk about inflation all we want but at the end of the day this is a thrift store and you’re selling some used bowls for $70+. This place may as well just resell all of its stuff on third party sites or auctions because that’s how they are pricing it. I don’t care how much it’s going for on eBay I’m buying it from a thrift store at the end of the day. Shopping at target or Walmart is cheaper than this “thrift” store. You want to help the community by selling them over priced items?

I was so disappointed.

I had a comfortable sofa, loveseat and oversized chair set that I went to donate. We cleaned out our storage unit and had it in the U-Haul. We arrived at 6:25pm and the two workers said they were no longer taking furniture. I explained to them that I had called and spoke with someone earlier about bringing in my donation. They went and got their manager (older thin male). He came and I explained what happened. He said let me look at it. He said is this an L sofa? I said no it is a sofa set. He pulled out his phone light, and said oh this arm has a nick and I can’t take it. I said what, you can barely see it. He said yes but I have to be able to sell it. I said you could sell it for &25 and still make a profit and he said no that’s not what we do here. He said this is Wake Forest and people are more particular here. He said maybe if you go to another city they would take it. I said, this is a Thrift Store! The mission is supposed to be to help those in need. I said ok, can you just take the other two. He said, no I don’t want to break the set up. I said this is Terrible! I even asked if he knew any place where I could donate it that wasn’t as stringent and he said no.

I was so very disappointed. This was a really nice sofa set and someone in need could have really used it if it was sold at true thrift prices.

This place has lost focus of its mission. They are looking for people to give them very nice things so they can sell at high prices. This is not thrift, this is consignment. You need to restructure your organization and reconnect to your Mission statement.

I will not be supporting this thrift store any longer.

Oh by the way, we donated our items to the Habitat for Humanity of Wake County. They were very grateful to get it.

My favorite thrift store in the area. Clothing is a little pricier than other spots, but it's sorted by size which is super convenient! They have a big selection of stuff, tons of DVDs, a good assortment of electronics which are priced very fairly, and even offer a 48 hour exchange period for electronics (you can return defective purchases for store credit or another item). Plus you're supporting a local organization!
