Downtown Statesville provide you with a small town feel even though Statesville keep expanding. It still feels historic and North Carolina unlike Mooresville. Not a lot of shops or good restaurants. Mostly pawn shop and coffee shop from what I am seeing. More are coming though with more people moving into town.
Free parking, always a plus. There are seasonal events from time to time to boost tourism in downtown. It

Went for the Christmas down town. Went in a few shops, had Christmas carolers, buggy rides, Santa, and even had someone making snow in front of Town Hall.

Pretty boring after summer. Be nice if they'd do like Charlotte, considering the fact we're building up statesville... need more for kids and young adults. Wonder why they get in trouble? 🤔🤔🤔🤔 I wouldn't recommend statesville to anyone with children. Yeah, theres parks, what about after they turn 12?🤔🤔🤔🤔

Went to the Friday After 5' concert featuring "The Catalinas". Great little venue on West Broad St. right in front of Mitchell Community College. Plenty of food vendors and local charity organizations. Easy to get to. We want to go back again.
