I stopped into grab a sandwich for my uncle on my visit; just so happened to see this spot as i was driving pass and it looked like a really sandwich spot, not a bodega. My aunt said enjoyed the softness of the bread. My 3 star is because I did not feel welcomed when I walked in. Felt very uncomfortable almost as of the lady working the counter was looking at me like why was I there. I don't know how many people of color shop here. I was the only one in the time I was there. I really didn't feel comfortable. The man ended up helping me but then his energy changed too. Felt almost like being in a sundown town and the sun was going down.

One of, if not the best Italian deli in the Bronx serving customers for over 65 years.
They make fresh deli cold cut and hot sandwiches and they have a hot food bar available and make the best sausages hands-down I’ve ever tried. The lady who attended me was super friendly even let me try a free sample of their store made dried sausage, which was also very tasty. I Definitely recommend this deli i will return soon.

Wonderful little local neighborhood Italian deli. They even make their own sausages and during the holidays, they make their own salamis. It's truly a neighborhood gem. You don't see many like this anymore. They also do catering.

Gina is great!! Knew I was traveling to Indy made me a fresh batch of cheese and parsley sausage. Let me sit in the shop in the air conditioning. TOTALLY RECOMMEND!!!

Been coming here for years. Their homemade sausage and delicaseas are amazing. And even for something as simple as a sandwich, every time it's perfection They have a great selection of deli meats and their bread taste delicious, and always fresh.

The food is not to bad, only had basic sandwich and it was well... pretty basic tasting... however I actually don't really even eat meat but when you walk in the fresh sausages and things smell very good. Everything looks fresh and definitely pricey! I would probably suggest this place to someone in the area looking for a sandwich not from a bodega or reg deli but as a rule I don't go here because the employees tend to be really not friendly. Like especially the older gentleman he is so nasty I've walked out many times and have not returned since. Like he's annoyed that customers come into a shop. The lady is very friendly and very helpful usually. I use to get all my bread and cold cuts but definitely not anymore.. I'd rather go to the supermarket where the employees are actually very helpful and friendly. Twice in the same week I went in the man hears me come in comes over to see me never acknowledges me goes back to continue doing his work and took another 4 minutes to come and serve me. Twice in same week... Half the time no hello, goodbye, thank you, not even an ok when u give your order just a nasty blank stare I really think he hates people who are happy and positive.. it takes away from his misery! Sad to say but businesses are losing their personal touch
