We love the Saturday service. The pastors and leaders really show the love of Christ and the dinner is outstanding the church is extremely clean, and well organized, and we finally found our home.i cannot begin to say in words, they walk the walk, not just the talk. There is everything here, not only that but people really care, everyone works hard, especially the leadership

The Desert Hills Lutheran congregation is a loving, accepting community. It is an active congregation, with social and spiritual activities and community outreach. Although it is a large church with 5 services each weekend, it is very friendly. Great music.
I'm involved in the Sewing Bee which does amazing charity work, providing quilts to veterans, children, and other people in need as well as raising money through the sale of quilts and other items at its annual boutique that is then donated here in southern Arizona and Northern Mexico. You do not need to be a member of the church or own a sewing machine to work with the Sewing Bee. You don't even have to know how to sew, there's plenty of related tasks or you can learn.
There's so much more going on. I invite you to come check it out.

We spent a couple weeks in Green Valley and attended a Sunday service and the noon Ash Wednesday service. We enjoyed worshiping at both services and the music and messages were Spirit filled. We were disappointed that the only people who spoke to us at both services were the door greeters. This will remind us to be friendly to everyone at our home church. God Bless You.

We spend 6 months (winter months) in Tucson. Over 2 yrs ago friends invited us to Desert Hills Luth. Church. This church has been our choice ever since. We attend the Country Gospel service. The service overall is good, sermon’s are great & the music is amazing! I feel I’m among very caring Christian people. It’s all about making a difference in the community & the world.

This faith community is alive and breathing. People care there! Singing in the Celebration choir and the Voices of Miriam choir is tons of fun. Though there are a good number of singers, there's room for more--especially ladies in the Miriam choir!

I am a member and am very thankful for this congregation being here. Prevoiusly I was an active member of several small Lutheran churches and was apprehensive of joining a large congregation. Those who worship here are very friendly and make a visitor feel welcome. There are five services that vary from very traditional to very informal. A great country western band plays for the two Saturday Country Western Gospel services.

Even though it is a large congregation it continues to grow as both permanent residents and "snowbirds" find out about our congregation.

The members are very active in our community. Many volunteer with some volunteering at more than one of the many local charities and nonprofits.

If you visit our congregation you may after a short time want to be a part of this committed Christian felliwship.

Went to 11:00 service for first time. Good biblically sound encouraging message. Very comfortable there. Liked the contemporary music-upbeat but not to flashy. Some easy to sing songs, and appreciated the song words on screen .
