One star if far too generous. The lack of motivation, rude and just plain in no rush to help process documentation.my only guess they are so on task that they triple check all documents. O % errors!?!? Right 🤔👎

If there was an option for zero stars I would give it. I have been trying to get ahold of someone by phone online and nothing. I have sent messages for the past month in a half and yet no response. I've been sending messages for the past three days to the octopus website and my account multiple times a day to all social services and no response. All I need is to close my case. You would think they would be on top of that. Does anyone even work there.

I’ve been on hold for almost 3 hours. This is ridiculous. My 3 year old and I depend on my calfresh benefits greatly every month. This is the second month they’ve withheld my food stamps. I was only 11 days late on submitting my SAR7 form and they decided to not give me my benefits until this month, and yesterday I checked my balance and it’s 0.00 and the automated voice said I have to wait till February now. My toddler son has a lifelong disease that restricts him from certain foods so I can’t just be ordering food or eating at friends houses until they decide to give me my money to provide food for my child and me. I’ve been on hold all morning. This is just pathetic public service. This is horrible and I’m very upset about all of this.

So they know that I'm broke that I have no money coming in and then I'm homeless well I'm waiting for a phone call to hear whether or not I can get some general relief they make sure to call me to tell me that I owe them for those food stamps which I don't know them for Santa Maria social services has no class. It just want to make it hurt worse than it already does Santa Maria social services-up yours! May your family starve too.

After calling so many times and being on hold for more than 2 hours not once but twice to finally having someone answer just to be hanged up just overall Bad service. The new phone service is awful i just wasted more than 5 hour of my day just to not resolve my problem or speak to someone.

Santa Barbara social worker's are kidnapper because they put kids in a abusive foster homes and take kids away from their family. The County is Abusing me and taking my money away and i was supposed to get $1300 but they are giving my $156 . Never trust the social worker and the county with your money. 🤬

It was great service but there was a lady not sure her name but was a hispanic who just seemed to not be doing anything she sat there staring at her nails and when she was helping a non english speaker she was completely rude to her telling her to just sit and she would call her completely ignoring the fact that the mam was lost i feel like its her job to help out but instead went completely against it ,shouldnt be working there if you dont like it .
