My mother in law sadly passed away here the other day. The nursing home said she fell asleep in her wheel chair and it was most likely from natural causes. They couldn’t, or wouldn’t tell us anymore than that. She wasn’t in the greatest of health but she also was not on her deathbed. We received a random text about an hour later from a burner phone number telling us to get an autopsy because things weren’t right. We will never know. She wasn’t treated the best while she was there. She is finally in peace now. Yet the lingering suspicion of her possibly suffering in her final moments will haunt us forever.

if i could make this review a ZERO, i would. my grandma, just yesterday, passed away here and the process we have gone through has been miserable. the entirety of the time my grandmother lived in this facility was miserable. the cleanliness of this building is terrible and the employees are even worse. after being told multiple different stories about how my grandmother passed, we received a message from a “textnow” number that is not able to be traced, therefore this person wanted to remain anonymous, telling us to get an autopsy. it had to have been an employee considering the fact they got my mother’s phone number off of my grandmother’s files. this message has left our whole family distraught in what our next steps would be.

In my personal opinion, the place is disgusting, rundown, and management is a joke. Who lets an administrator wear a dress 3 sizes too small to a nursing home? Everyone can see everything maam. Not appropriate. Housekeeping supervisor is lazy, doesnt check work, doesnt finish work herself accordingly, complains if she has to work, and allows staff to sit in closets on 300 hall, for most part of the day. Laundry barely survives and management wont do anything to get them more help downstairs, thats why laundry is so slow. Aides leave used briefs in trash cans and on floors, used gloves everywhere, and are on their phones constantly. Infection/disease/illness can easily spread here. Dont work here, dont put your family here. Its such an unproffesional setting. Needs all new management for almost every department. Theres absolutely amazing people here, who do amazing jobs. Then theres everyone else. Do better.

If I could give ZERO STARS, I would! As a concerned niece, I am absolutely appalled by this facility. How is it even legal for this building to be in operation? It's beyond disgusting and disappointing. The online testimonials must be fake because no real person who has stepped foot inside this facility could possibly write a positive review.

The building is dilapidated beyond repair. It's old, run-down, and falling apart to the point where it should be demolished and rebuilt from scratch. Trust me, you do not want your loved one to be at this facility.

The staff ignored us and seemed genuinely shocked that anyone was visiting. It's clear that the residents are neglected. No one is checking on them, which makes me believe this place should have been shut down long ago. There is no way that building is up to code.

Recently, flooding exposed numerous leaks throughout the facility, leaving rooms soaking wet and destroyed. This place is an atrocity and a hazard to anyone living there.

ZERO stars.... My mom passed away yesterday and within an hour got a text that is in the photos below. They killed her. This place needs to be SHUT DOWN. It is gross, nasty, the carpet is soaked in pee. My mom kept being stubborn and kicking through the pain and the facility but someone did something. Cops have been called. I only wish 2 days earlier when she begged to call or leave I had done it sooner.

While visiting my father last week, his roomate fell in the room. I immediately pushed the call button and ran the halls for help. I could not find one single attendant. I ran back and helped him to his feet. It took 1.5 hours before anyone checked on the call button. When the nurse did finally come to check she acted like I was a bother. It seems as though this place is really short staffed!

Update:
It gets worse! This place is so poorly run. It is a shame because there are a handful of great employees. Someone needs to get it together! I have so many complaints.
#1 it is filthy. My shoes stick to the floor. It smells zoo-like most days.
#2 Items come up missing regularly, Clothes don't come back from laundry and staff help themselves to things
#3 hit the call button... its about an hour response time with a nurse, and then they are aggravated! I have photos of all the call lights on in the hall and everyone chit-chatting at the front desk
#4 you never know who is the nurse for the evening... there is a big lack of communication.#5 Did your family member have dinner? Hard to say. The first week, they missed 5 of my dad's meals (good thing someone is paying attention!) When they get their meals delivered to their rooms, it is not everything from the menu. They do not serve juice, they serve koolade. They serve coffee old and cold to the residents. Some of the food is so salty, it is unedible. AND, they repeatedly fail to provide transportation. This is so frustrating!!!

Please feel free to add coments. This original post is from weeks ago. And still no response.

3+ months later! A response! I am just as suprised as you. In all fairness, I have NO desire to call and talk to you now. JUST RUN YOUR PLACE BETTER! BE RESPONSIBLE WITH THE PEOPLE YOU ARE IN CHARGE OF!

Delmar on the Green has always had my Dads best well being on track. A test that needed to be preformed at a Hospital situation was completely handled with care and great follow up.
The next day follow up continued with the nurse Sam on 1A making arrangements for a follow up appointment, complete with transport, time, location!
Everyone involved on his hall is attentive, kind, helpful and thoughtful with Dad. Thank you TEAM.
It is a good thing to know when Dads family would all be out of town that Delmar on the Green could handle every situation.
Thank you, Julie H.
