The kindest Angel on this Earth. They are so helpful. I love the way this pantry works . You only take what you like and will use. Not like other places that give you s box and if you can't eat the stuff you get a stick like if non-useful items your family wont eat, then you don't know where to donate them.
Not here. It's like a store. You pick only the items you will use. No waste!!

I felt so blessed, I didn't feel judged at all and everyone was so loving I actually felt so blessed. They all were so helpful and made sure to point out items that were available that you may have never thought you could have. Those that know real hard times we know how to pinch. Here there are items that in our situation could never afford and they make sure that you know.

Very helpful people. Except the kids that are helping by doing community service and doesn't know how much stuff to give you. I have a family of 8, and the kid was only trying to give me a little tiny roll of sausage. Even though they had more meat. That was my only bad experience.

The local food pantry in Dayton has been a godsend for my family. It depressing that lately, the precious commodities such as meet, fresh produce, milk and eggs have stopped being available to them because of cutbacks. I am a creative person, even in the kitchen. When it comes to taking the little that used to be available each week and making it stretch to feed us for the week was easy. Now with the further cuts, I still comeuppance with creative meals, but there is no variety in what I am able to make.
I would love to see our food pantries fully funded and receiving the material good that are so precious to those in need.
