The staff is fantastic, but they could use a few more. They are patient, kind, and encouraging.

The physical and occupational therapists are generally quite good at what they do. Their therapy room can get close to maximum capacity.

They take patient satisfaction seriously. They have a person who visits patients once a week to ask if the patient has any requests or complaints.

I eat more fresh vegetables and fruit at home than we get here, but overall the food isn't bad and sometimes quite good.

They unfortunately don't forward patients records even when asked repeatedly.

Our experience at Cypress Ridge was very positive, and over-all great experience. My husband needed a short Stay after back surgery, and Cypress was located perfectly close to home. Each staff member took pride in the care they provided to get him back to health and home. Willing to go out of their way to accommodate our requests. Physical therapy here has been great, the staff has been so good to me. Natalie, Miele, Chris, Anna are amazing nurses and Kristin in the front and Darci the social worker has been great to me. CNAs (Mark, Emmett) are very attentive. Vince transportation is very good.

Very pleased! Big thank you to Michelle and the Cypress Ridge team for the exceptional care and experience my aunt received during her stay. She felt supported by the staff, therapists and nurses that it helped make a difference in her recovery journey. And thank you for providing a clean, and welcoming atmosphere for my germaphobe aunt 🙂 this was one of the biggest challenges for her ocd!

My family was transferred to have a short term therapy, we expected only 1-2 weeks. However, they didn't want to discharge him home because Cypress Ridge wanted to maximum claim his insurance up to 100 days. They evaluated him and stated he is not safe to back home. Eventually I took him to walk out with AMA. After back home, my family has no problem to walk around. Overall, I want to say most of the staffs there are nice and friendly, do the best to provide professional care to the patients. Excepted the management. The meals provided are OK, acceptable. The space for the patient are OK, not much privacy but it maybe the standard service pay by the medicare. I will prefer my family stay in other private care facilities instead.

This place is amazing! My grandmother was out of a surgery and we were looking for somewhere she could be cared for and enjoy. cypress Ridge was recommended to us from a family member of mine. During her stay he was able to heal, walk more on her own and rehabilitated enough to return home. They were able to take care of all of her needs. We had insurance so that there was no out of pocket costs associated to her stay.

Visitation was easy and simple to arrange, they took care of her appointments, and were very responsive on her condition! Everything was well handled. would highly recommend Cypress Ridge to anyone with a similar situation!!

Cypress Ridge Care Center is a gorgeous jewel in the crown of Monterey that has not only a beautiful facility, but a top notch staff that truly cares for its residents. Everything from their location to their recently renovated north wing is an inviting and warm environment that any potential resident has the opportunity to recover and thrive in. The therapy team here is amazing and attentive and the nursing team is second to none. Please make sure to make this five star skilled nursing facility your go to for your loved ones care!
