This review only applies to Saturday applications and TW passport renewal “line”. They hand out numbers and applications at 9:30. Doors open at 10:00. Also, they limit the numbers of applications accepted to 25 for passport. If you must come here instead of LA, bring a chair, jacket or umbrella depending on weather. Go to restroom somewhere else beforehand because you’re waiting in line outside. Line starts as early as 6:30.

Just OK, arrived before 9am on a Saturday (check their schedule, they are not open every Saturday of the month), and there was a long line of people waiting to get a numbered ticket. They were supposed to start handing out numbers at 9:30am, but they ended up doing this before. We just happened to get the last number (out of 25 numbers). Then waited until almost 10am when they finally opened the front doors. Then we waited until around noon before finally our turn. This was the 5th trip to the TW embassy (either downtown or El Monte location) to take care of various items of business. Service is ok once you have all of your paperwork and notaries in order, but the several trips were in part because the bearucrats don't go out of your way to tell you up front what you will need to prepare. If they had this clearly documented on their website that would save a lot of time.

There are a in house library, a dancing class room with mirrors, a exhibition hall, a huge conference, a few classrooms in difference capacities, and a hall with a performing stage. Limited parking spaces. Facility is old and outdated.
