My son has been in Scouts (note it’s now called Scouts to represent all who join ❤️), since he was 5. We moved to franklinton this past summer, and chose to transfer to Pack 500 after attending the first meeting. It’s quite large yes, but his den (Wolves) has 4 leaders! There are so many volunteers, Leaders, Asst. Leaders that they are able to manage and organize quite well! They are a very dedicated team. Many parents participate, myself included, and with all the support, this pack stays busy! There are so many opportunities for meeting, learning, camping, volunteering, hiking, and fun!!! My son has acclimated well, even with his shyness, and learning disabilities. I highly recommend this pack.

We love Pack 500. My family is very involved in the Cub Scouts. My husband is a den leader, and I am the event coordinator. We have so much fun with our individual dens (Bears and Tigers) and the overall pack. My boys love all the STEM projects, pinewood derby cars, campouts, canoeing, and hikes. I love that they are learning how to help their community, be a good person, and always give a helping hand. If you are interested in Cub Scouts check out Pack 500!

My kids are really enjoying being a part of this pack. They only do one extracurricular activity, and this is it! They help out in the community, spend time outdoors, play with their denmates, and have so many different experiences in one extracurricular. There's truly nothing like it!

I do wish the dens were a bit smaller, but they need parent volunteers to lead those dens and since I'm not stepping up, I guess I can't complain!

Also, I LOVE that it's a whole family thing. My littlest (age 3) is a 'dragon' scout - meaning we're dragging him to all the events, too. It's something my entire family is involved in!

My son has been with Pack 500 since 2020 and it has been such a great experience for him! My younger son just joined this year and is having a great time as well! This pack is so organized, active, and involved in the community. It's a huge pack but it really doesn't feel that big as the leaders are so personable.
