A majority of the psychologists/therapists employed here are utilizing the work they do in the office as a source to receive the credit requirements to become certified, which is fine. If you are seeking services to be ongoing, just a heads up everyone is allocated around 15 sessions, any of which that are missed will still count unless you inform them ahead of time about the absense. After that, if you wish to continue services it is possible, if the therapist makes a recommendation for your child to continue services or if you request it, if requested your child will have to complete the intake process again. I felt I should warn any parents who intend to have their child become a patient here. When it comes to the psych evaluation, which they will mention about inquiring about during the first or second session, during this session your child will meet with a licensed psychiatrist who will speak with your child privately for about 45 minutes then ultimately decide in prescribing them medication. I recommend that you take the time to research the use of psych drugs aka psi medications and the effects, enough to be informed before blindly allowing your child to be prescribed these medicines. From my personal experience, after my daughter had seen the psychiatrist on staff here at Crossroads, she attempted to use my daughter as her 'guinea pig' telling me that she wanted to prescribe her certain things assuming that I was uninformed and would agree without question, however, this was not the case, the psychiatrist then proceeded to dish out 'facts' which I had never heard to be true, and I looked into throughly when we arrived home. Again DO NOT ALLOW YOUR CHILD TO BE PRESCRIBED MEDICATIONS without doing your own research, they can end up doing more harm than good, and with just a bit of research you could be preventing what could end up causing severe psychological repercussions.

I have called this office multiple times to make an appointment for my daughter. I was asked a series of questions and told I would receive a call back to schedule her for an appointment. I am now looking elsewhere to seek help for my daughter. These people cant even return any of my phone call, thenrefore I can not trust then with the care of my daughter.
