I came to Crossroads after leaving a really bad church 5 years ago with my family. Crossroads was great and welcoming at first. Or so I thought. Over the years that I’ve been attending Crossroads I’ve realized that I don’t belong here. The sermons and the music are all great but the people inside the building are not. If you don’t smile enough or you’re not happy when walking in you’re not welcomed. You’re just pushed aside. If you talk too much you either get kicked out or completely ignored because you’re now labeled as ā€œtoo much to handleā€. Last year I’ve been intentionally hurt by staff and leaders in this church, who don’t care for what their actions have done to me mentally. They just put the blame on me as it’s my fault and leave it alone. I’ve tried to forgive and forget about everything but every time I walk into the building every Sunday morning I’m reminded of the pain that’s still not resolved. I’ve decided to leave the church to take some time to heal and who knows if I’ll ever come back

This church is wonderful. The leadership is authentic. They serve the community. The teaching is centered around a relationships with God and with others. They have an outstanding kids club and student section.

No matter where you are in life, enjoy an accepting crowd of people seeking God while being themselves, warts and all. There is something truly special here. You will be challenged to grow and that is good thing. Try a group or volunteer to feel connected and known.

I came from Crossroads Oakley due to moving to the east side. I joined a small group and also went to Woman Camp with some of the women in my group. We since have started our own group and I volunteer in the toddler room now. Yay kids club! Safe to say Crossroads Eastside feels like home to me after getting involved and meeting so many different people that I now call friends šŸ™‚

I love this church; my boyfriend and I tell each other each week we are excited to go to Crossroads. Kids club is AMAZING, I know they have a section for older students as well, their staff is highly in tune of the environment they work in, and their volunteers are also on the same ride as there are a lot of them. Plenty of groups to sign up for and just be part of a community or at different times of our life.

Their sermons are raw, sometimes subjects are brought up that are hard to talk about in the real world but need to be talked about in order to give us tools (verses) from the Bible and NOT casted aside for us to deal with alone. Real life experiences their leaders have gone through paired with delivery that is non-judgmental of the human spirit BUT learned from.

I’ve truly experienced a big box church up in Seattle, Washington… I won’t mention their name. But that church has made me feel confused, lost and uninvited after each service. Crossroads is the opposite: hones in on the spirit and it is infectious allowing me to be a vessel for Gods love as well. The direction that our society is facing is confusing; Crossroads I believe has been helping redirect our sights back onto God!

I forgot to mention that there’s even an app: use it to help me study and I can see the pastor notes or pray with even to meditate. There’s so much I can rave about Crossroads it is insane!

Beautiful venue. Very clean, and open. Had one of the most memorable experiences of my life here. My sons graduation. Makes me very interested and curious about their Sunday services. Would like to attend soon

nice facilities but agree with other mixed reviews on this church. before the main sermon a lady pastor talked about how you can test God and his love for you and you can do that by giving money to their church and then God will be there for you like never before, she was talking about tithing to God aka their church and once you do you will see HIM be there for you more than if you don't give them money, saying try it and see how your life is different. if you don't feel Gods presence is different in your life after giving money to their church, they will give you back all your tithed money after 90 days - sorry but I have been a Christian my entire life and never have heard any church or lead pastor saying anything like this nor does this feel appropriate with todays financial climate, giving money to a church does not equal God being there for you more just because you do

the woman pastor talked about this for a good 5-10 min and it was very uncomfortable as a first time guest. most people can't even pay their own bills or buy groceries right now. this left a very bad taste in my mouth here and we will not return

most churches asks for donations for sure or by casually passing around baskets but I have never been in a church that asks for money like this

Is this a real church, or just a business for profit....Desperate for help and don't want to be homeless with a minor child and was told they don't help the public.. they pay no taxes and can't help out the poor..
