Critter Creek Wildlife Station is a wonderful place to visit. They dedicate their time and services to caring for an amazing list of animals. Some are recovering from accidents or injuries, others were surrenders from various situations. All are cared for quite well. They have a selection of animals I did not expect. Alligators, raptors, owls, and bobcats to name a few. They only open the doors to visitors a few times a year so watch their website for details. It's definately worth the time to visit and make a donation to support the good work they are doing.

I love this place and the work that they do rehabilitating injured animals to return them to their habitat as well as providing sanctuary for those that cannot be returned. It is a fantastic place run by deeply caring people.

This is an awesome local wildlife rehab center with a large variety of animals. They have quarterly open houses, which you make a donation to attend. Very informational and a great place to take the family on a weekend.

Sadly, the bird and small mammal enclosures were full of feces. It might not be like this all the time but it bothered us in the group.
They need more volunteers.
Cages with hawks were lined up in the trailer awaiting to be euthanized. At a rehabilitation center euthanasia happens but this seemed a lot that day.
Hopefully things have improved.
They give a little tour and they have some hands on interaction with a few animals they show off.
Its a lot of work running a center like this but we really need licensed rehab centers. They could use more stringent guidelines, more inspections, and funding.

The staff here are amazing. They work really hard and truly care about the animals they rehabilitate. They were very gracious and allowed me to observe their animals for my Master's thesis. The grounds are beautiful and they have a lot of different animals. Great place to bring kids, make a day of it!

This place is sooooooooooo AWESOME!! We survive from donations, and need ALL the support that we can get! The loving work being done for these animals who have voices, but ones that mere humans cannot pick up on is astounding! These beautiful creatures are given another chance at life, an opportunity that they wouldn't otherwise have gotten, if it weren't for these wonderful people of love, compassion, and dedication!! I encourage ALL to check em out n find out their OPEN HOUSE days of the year where the public can enjoy 4FREE!!!! (But ANY donations are ALWAYS GREATLY APPRECIATED)!!

I had the unfortunate experience of interacting with these people online. They are rude, condescending, judgemental, hateful people and I can not imagine entrusting an animal to their care. Please, donate your money to ethical and responsible facilities; not to hateful bullies.
