How does this place have limited resources when ALL of the churches including mine, give the money to them to help people in need?!? I don’t go to a small church either, I attend Love and Faith and this is where the church members money go!

I would like to know how many people have been helped vs turned away bc something isn’t adding up here. Either someone is pocketing the money for their own good or they’re using it to help people they know.

I would like to have this organization looked into and possibly see about them being audited. I’m reaching out to every head person because it makes zero sense!!!

When I had emergency surgery and missed a bunch of work, I had no idea how I was going to pay rent, or get food in our home, after I saw I didn't have any PTO or Sick time left to help me. I was PANICED, but Crisis Control made the process to get help quick and simple. A simple phone interview, I knew within 15 that I had been approved. Next morning I arrived, received a rent check made out to my Landlord, and they brought us back to the food pantry. I wasn't expecting to have so much food that we HAD to have a vehicle to get home- there was oo way a bus ride would get all this back. My pantry is so full we still have things in bags, my freezer and fridge are packed. They have literally everything there- hygiene products, household needs such a TP and dish soap, diapers and formula is you have babies, the obvious canned food options but also good breads, eggs, milk, produce, meat, snacks and desserts, cereal, juice, coffee and tea. I was an still am amazed at the sheer volume and variety they offered, and the amount we were allowed to bring home. We have enough food to last us a whole month or more. The entire process was simple, there was no judgement from anyone, and they treated us so kindly while they walked us through the process for both rent assistance and the food pantry shopping. We even got to bring home plants and flowers (we only grabbed cactuses cuz we'd kill the other plants lol), which adds some color and life to our living room. Crisis control has a bad reputation of being inaccessible or scary, but they aren't. If you are in need, CALL THEM. They have so much that they can help with. Best to call first thing in the morning though, things are first come first serve so you need to be quick, but you don't always have to have an eviction notice or your lights turned off before you get help. This is the second time Crisis Control has helped me, almost three years ago they agreed to pay our security deposit for the apartment we live in. Crisis Control got us on our feet three years ago, and today when we had another crisis and didn't know what to do they swooped in and saved the day yet again for us. I am so, so grateful for the assistance we've received through them. Thank you to all the men and women who assisted us today

One star is truly over rating this organization. This organization is truly a scam as it's used to judge you based on your circumstance. The times I've called, the criteria for a crisis has changed. On top of that, they provide you with wrong numbers to organizations. They should probably change the to "scammers" as that's what they're good at. For those that have received help, don't consider it the next time you need help. I completely agree with other reviews on the poor service and judgement they receive to jump over a hurdle. The excuses they come up with don't even make sense and definitely don't align with the mission of the organization. Crisis Control is a joke and please go somewhere else for help. We really need to find a way for them to have there funding taken away and shutdown. So much for decent people in the world

I’ve tried each time to get help from this place they never want to help I just started back working on the 1st they want me to have a month income in order for them to help me and I’m gonna be evicted from my place. They are supposed to be a ministry to help people that need and I in need of help and can’t get the help from them. it makes no sense to me.

If I could give zero stars I would. If not profit organization is a complete scam! I lost my job a few years due to health condition but immediately gain employment they’re a previous employer I would start in a week so I’ll be in a hole a few weeks and ask crisis control to help me with my rent and they told me that they could not help because it I couldn’t afford it. I’ve been in the same house for six years with rent at 700 a month anywhere else I go is over $1000 a month but you can’t help me with something I can afford. Fast-forward I ended up paying my rent just to be told I had seven days to vacate because of the mold. I called back and asked if they could help me with a security deposit and once again told me I couldn’t afford it. for somebody who makes over $3000 a month that just needs a hand to get by because they’re behind due to circumstances beyond their control! But let someone who is unemployed, who has been unemployed for years they’ll be quick to help! Social services even said why they didn’t help and calm down there themselves because they didn’t believe me that they wouldn’t help! Just a scam! A way to take in cash donations and write off what they need to write off. They are not about helping the middle class community!!

It’s been awhile since I’ve came across good people and helpful people. I had to go thru a few people to get approved but every single person was great! Call back times was all in one day!!! If you need help plz give them a call

I reached out for help on verge of eviction my girlfriend and I and lost my mother the week before and couldn't pay our rent i reached out here for them to tell me that they can not help me because I don't. Ake enough to live at the apartment I'm at I need to be within %40 of my Income which is ridiculous when every requires 3 times the rent and doordash doesn't count as income and can look at it but it kept us alive for last 2 months and so they tell us we are living beyond our means is what we we told which is just excuse not help out in a crisis, this is really some way to help people out in real time of need I'm just in aww at the way we were treated during the process in every way they came up with a reason not to help

Will be the last time I call and ask for help with them. These people suppose to help with you are in a crisis and instead they don’t even do that. I explain my hours are being short at work and is the reason causes my crisis. they are to worrying about if they help me this time what will I do next time if I am in a crisis. Like lady why are you worrying about the next time You Need to focus on how you can help me at the moment. These people are a joke. If you are in crisis don’t call for help because they want help you. Instead they will judge you.
