The epic system with reminders for appointments is very stupid and doesn’t follow human behavior. I never get a reminder on the day of or the day before an appointment. But I’ll get multiple reminders about an appointment over a week away. Does Cottage and Epic not understand how human brains work? Next, I called to reschedule three appointments due to surgery. And it took 27 minutes to change three appointments. The agent had a horrendous time using the system. Epic is not so epic apparently. It is a frustrating, burdensome, clunky, and often not worthwhile system.

An excellent experience. A low-key, healing atmosphere was provided and my physical and occupational therapists were gems.
Dr. Ross was attentive, smart and has a great bedside manner.

Margarita is a therapist that will kick you out for no reason. Especially if you argue that you didn't call in to cancel ANY appointments. She is unprofessional and lied to my Primary Care Provider by telling him that I was the one who canceled my Therapy and refused to do the exercises.... It's no wonder why my PCP didn't think I needed Help. SHE SHOULD GET FIRED!

I am posting this review from my bed at Cottage Rehab after a transfer from Cedars-Sinai in Beverly Hills. I am recovering from a heart attack and this place is so much better, I can barely describe it. The staff is caring and well trained. I am kept busy so I am not bored, and the food is amazing. After the chicken, turkey, beef, and fish regimen at Cedars-Sinai I could not believe it when I was handed the menu. I don't know why someone wrote a poor review. This is closer to a fine hotel than a hospital environment. Five stars!

My brother spent 2 weeks as an inpatient there and it was the best experience for him and myself. All the staff from nurses, doctors, front desk staff, valet they all were so nice and welcoming. Everyone tries their best to be positive and make it feel like home. I would recommend this place any time to anyone!!!! He will now be doing outpatient and he is very happy.

Thank God...... I’m here right now as I write this review....... first the food is outta this world so good! The staff is so kind and nice. I really feel like they care about me. If I’m in pain they help, if I’m sad because I’ve been in the hospital and here for almost a month the nurses are there for me willing to listen..... believe me it really helps to have someone listen to you when your missing your family. They have 3 drs. Ready to help you offering sound advice. Everyone is so nice. It really means a lot to have such caring people on your side. Thank you Cottage!!!!

2 members of my family went here for 6 visits. When I received the bill for the first visit at over $3000, I knew something was fishy. I immediately canceled any remaining visits. I was billed an average $1500/visit for services costing less than $300 at every other place in town. I continued to receive bills and the current balance due is over $12,000. No services after the first bill was received. This is called “surprise billing” and should be illegal.
Just a word of warning to anyone who considering treatment. Do your homework, get everything in writing, and look at your invoice after every visit. “Surprise Billing” is common, and legal. They will “up sell“ you services. Cottage will not discuss this at the time of the visit, but it is written in fine print on a waiver you will be asked to sign.. Even if you ask for “no additional services”, as I did, they will take advantage of your position. They are unfortunately a business. Buyer Beware.
