I think the city of Costa Mesa Newport Beach has only created a mirage. They don’t r”call back after you call him 6 to 7 times. in three to four days It’s very pathetic. The money they have spent to help the homeless with no intent of actually helping them

I got kicked out by mercy house coordinator for not getting a better job to get place on my own. Shelter said nothing. One person been ther 2.5 years and never was told anything like that I entered 4/25/24 kicked out 12/5/24. Make it make sense. Now back in my car sleeping.

This is the best shelter I've been to and I have been to a bunch. I had a really terrible experience at Mercy house HB. BUT...SO far, so good over here, good food good crowd, reasonable rules, staff is great, and actually cares I can't say a bad word about anyone here. Been here almost a month. Also the task force and the outreach team is great and they have local connections with the church and lots of programs here.

There is one person the works here, not dating names, Dante but he likes to disrespect people and cause themselves to get so mad that i want to do something to him but then i wouldn't have a place to leave

Very rude and unfriendly security guards that work the night shift. who threatened to shoot my boss who was kind enough to drop off a lady in this shelter that was a customer in a difficult moving situation. what the guard did not know is that my supervisor works with law enforcement. Very poor customer service at this location. Friendly volunteers trying to help those in need should avoid this center
