I rent a property under this HOA and despite possible benefits for the owner, rental management is a joke- I've had a fallen tree in my yard for over a month. I wouldn't recommend renting in this community if they don't care about the entire community.

As a visitor, I had a very disappointing experience here. If I could give 0 stars to the management, I would!

Some (not all) rude people here in the office by the pool. Your attitude would be different had you communicated better with Sunflower management about the use of your facilities, what was required of Sunflower residents, (one lady said you don't need your ID, another scolded my mother after the day before she was told by a different lady no ID was needed), and what the rules are.

Parents (Sunflower residents) were told to come to the office each day to sign in for access to the pool. Okay, great! There was no mention the office would be closed on the weekends, or even a hint given by the office (ex: Hey, it's Friday! Are you planning to swim tomorrow? Well we won't be here, so we recommend getting the 1 week key pass!). No Sunflower resident knows of their lack of presence on the weekends or was informed of this.

We showed up to use the pool on Saturday, April 16th and no one from the office was there to let us in. Okay, so my mother finds a worker that says, "Oh you need to go to the other pool!" Okay sure. We drive to the other pool and no one is there.

Get on the same page, or don't let residents you don't actually want there to be allowed to use your facilities.

The 1 star is for the pool itself; a lap lane, large pool, lounge chairs, hot tub, splash zone for kids, and shaded areas were excellent.

A good community Easter event. Mostly free attractions (except of course the food trucks) Easter hunt for the kids, zip-line, petting zoo, obstacle courses for kids and many local groups with recruiting info. I will definitely go again next year, and pay more attention to community events near our new home! Only thing that is unfortunate is if you don't live in the neighborhood...

Prejudice......... I recently received a warning for having my empty single axle trailer parked on the side of my house. It's only been there for maybe two weeks. Funny, as I drove to the store after getting this letter I counted four other loaded trailers parked in driveways and on the street! One with a boat, one with trash and construction debris, and two others with tools and construction equipment. I guess it just boils down to who you know on the board. Thank you for keeping such a watchful eye on -my- house, I love living under a microscope.
