If you do your part they are more likely to help you find a place but if you don't reach the goals that get established after you get there, then they are a lot less likely to help you. The facility is very nice though. My biggest complaint would be the amount of people that aren't staying there that are allowed on the property besides meal times. I understand people can come to eat there, shower there as well and I'm not talking about that. But lots of men and women would be in the smoking area a large amount of the time just hanging out and for a woman, the men hanging out especially can be concerning.

This place is a REALLY GOOD PLACE FOR PEOPLE THAT WANT HELP! There are those that say they don’t help anyone . But clients need to WANT to help themselves to some extent! They DO PROVIDE the tools you need! And there are rules you have to follow. But I haven’t met a caseworker that doesn’t really try to help those that want help. It’s a place for meals and a safe place to sleep for those who are trying to make their life better!

This place is so much bigger, cleaner and brighter than their previous location. My son and I went to the new location to donate some food and some scarves and hats that my mother and I knit. The new place is so different from their previous location. The buildings are new, the parking lot is a lot bigger and paved. They have separate buildings for the residents and the cafeteria. There is a nice outdoor area with beautiful tables with benches that are nothing like the old place. There is even a nice playground for the children. I was pleasantly surprised. The building where they eat has a cute open sign that lights up. When I took donations to the old place I felt uncomfortable. There would be people hanging around sitting on old wooden picnic tables. You had to go up old wooden stairs, then onto a wooden deck that felt unsafe, to go inside. The building was old and everything needed to be updated. I am so happy that they finally moved into a new place. Everything is nice and clean and I can only imagine that the residents would be proud to stay there. The old place was old, not so clean and ratty. I apologize for saying that but it felt old and dirty when I took donations there. I felt a little unsafe whenever I took donations there. The new place was inviting and the staff was warm and welcoming. I am so happy for the staff and residents. They now have a place that they can feel proud of and I don't feel uncomfortable dropping off donations.
