I had a very bad experience with Ms. Grey
I was told I had no income to file and I sat there patiently listening to her yelling at other people she was helping.

Saying I'm doing you a favor very mean. then it was my turn to be helped.Mind you she was the only one helping everyone that day.I know that work can be over whelming, but if you can't handle the pressure you should not be working.

This person should learn some people skills. When I tried to leave she kept my copies of 3 years w-2 license and SS.

UPDATE: even though I received a call from Mrs Grey, I still am.left with more questions than answers. If she was aware that I had no taxable income, which would deny my STIMULUS payments, than WHY did she waste both my and her time by filling out the 540 form and telling me before I left that day that I was eligible for the 2nd STIMULUS payment? Makes no.sense. but the outcome remains the same....NO. STIMULUS CHECK...

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!
-----------‐-----------------------‐------------------‐

Not a happy camper!!!!!. I am anticipating someone incharge to call.me, this is terrible customer service plus her tone over the phone is not friendly either.
I really needed the extra funds.

Came here for help with my taxes for 2020, first year I received disability. Wanted to take advantage of the Ca. STIMULUS money. Who.wouldnt Obviously i had no taxable income". Had Mrs A. Gray ( not sure about correct spelling) prepare my
540 . Pretty simple, you would think. I left feeling relieved that she sent it via e-file.
7weeks later I called to see where my STIMULUS payment was, I was told they never received it. Called Mrs Gray and asked for a submission number to verify she sent my taxes thru. First she told me no submission number is given for Ca state taxes. Then after reviewing my file she realized my 540 did not even go thru.
Why?. She forgot to write in an amount on line 17 a number, between ..1.00 and 75,000 dollars because it was not filled out correctly, and it was not submitted I am not receiving the STIMULUS payment.
I would think Mrs Grey had the proper understanding of filing taxes for disability individuals but apparently not.
Now being it's too late, I will not receive a STIMULUS check.
Not a happy camper AT ALL
Thank you Mrs Grey.( sniff sniff)

I read the other review from Ray. The fact that he had also had a terrible experience should tell you she should be asked to leave and maybe do some filing or something to get her away from helping the public. This is not the way to have a service for the elderly. She has screwed up Ray's and my tax 540 and probably many others. No way to conduct a business. Do you hear me Ms Gray? Go somewhere else where you are not helping others, cause obviously you are no help. Find another job, cause one of these days you will really upset someone and make them ill.
Please leave.

Did my taxes here last yr and decided to do them here again ...BIG MISTAKE! I have no idea what older lady's name is but she's not very good at what she does and rude. I had asked her if I could put someone as a dependent and she said no but I've been told by other tax preparers that I can. When I went to pick up my taxes, I asked her "I could decide not to file?" And she was like "you can but I'm gonna be very mad at you and you won't file with us again!" Lol then why do them for free? I thought ppl who volunteered for this did it because they wanted to help fanilies....Get yourself a business and start charging if you don't like doing them for free. I then looked at my refund and it didn't feel right, so I said nah and walked out. I did my taxes with a professional and got more...this place might be free but it ain't worth it. They probably don't make enough so they don't want you to get more than they do. Seriously, do your research and find a good tax preparer
