This was the worst experience I’ve ever had trying to learn music. The school assigned me a teacher who was completely unfit for my needs. The first class was spent entirely on small talk, and the second class revealed her to be subpar at best. When I reached out to request a change, they cited their policy of allowing teacher switches only after the first class. I explained that the first class consisted of nothing but chit-chat, giving me no real opportunity to assess the instructor’s teaching ability.

Instead of resolving the issue efficiently, they subjected me to weeks of follow-ups, ignored calls, and delayed email responses. Two weeks later, they finally responded—only to tell me that I’d have to continue paying for the teacher until they found a replacement student, which could take as long as the entire course duration.

Attempts to escalate the matter to the director, Julie, were met with repeated "out of office" excuses, despite the receptionist confirming she was present. The entire experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and dismissive.

This school lacks integrity, professionalism, and basic values. I strongly advise against enrolling here for any kind of music education.

Love CMC! My 11 year old has been taking piano lessons for a few years. Michaela, her teacher, has been patient and supportive through her musical growth. Silvanna has helped make CMC such a warm and magical space for all ❤️

Our kid loved the Sparks camp and learned so much. Definitely will be sending him to CMC for lessons this fall. It’s a neighborhood treasure!
