5-year in and Marin TV continues to hold steady. They have had their financial challenges but continue to move forward with excellent staff and classes. The facility recently upgraded computers in the editing lab and the offered class have now grown from basic editing to sound and graphics. The programming now being produced in the state-of-the-art studio is less than amatuer. Members who have been at the studio from the beginning treat their productions as a continuing growth opportunity. I recommend you taking the free one night session and learn about the possibilities of using the Community Center of Marin.

Hard to describe my experience, yet not...
Mariposa deLosAngeles asked us to play a few tunes for her series, and we signed up.
At the lunch break (thank you!) I asked if the Media Center had volunteers. "Why yes, almost everyone is a volunteer!"
Needless to say, since I had recently retired and had more time and less money, and have an interest in photography, I became a member. What a great group of people it is!
I took inexpensive training classes and have been having fun ever since. Our current series, Marin Poets Live! has been aired on Marin TV for over two years now and we're happy about that!
Along the way, the media center staff have been so helpful that it has been almost a breeze; they are really great. None better!

Priceless asset for Marin county residents. CMCM provides three channels for public broadcasting. A general channel 26, a government channel 27, and an educational channel 30. Extensive program for anyone interested in learning studio production, field production and editing. Their studio us available for those who would like to produce a one-time show or a regular series.

I find this organization to be somewhat slow to meet community needs as such there is no easy or simple way to participate you can see for yourself the workshop signup suggests that it is unsafe and if you continue your compromising your own security and are at risk of being ripped off. I certainly find that it is a shady operation and that all use of the community resources are being taken advantage of in many aspects. Marin Trails my ass I am Hot on the trail of spill the pail of water and have been the trailblazer myself. so many things are seen and yet un-noticed. Its 2016 and I am not impressed with the past a good way to start this year is by giving credit to the original artists who make Marin Home. I have a life here and dont want to see the "cmcm" failures at transparency and untimely notification of so called community resources being raped robbed and pillaged I have a keen eye for deception. and I dont like cmcm Prove me wrong. your letters are late and your scheduling is iffy it says one thing and is another. CMCM CLEAN UP YOUR ACT THIS YEAR2016 maybe I will too.

One of the premier community media centers in the country! This center provides community access to the cable provider, offers classes, equppment and a studio for people to produce their own TV shown. An amazing resource for the community!
