Can’t say how thankful I am for this place! Cecelia was my case manager and was so kind to my toddler and I from start to finish. She listened to me and got on the ball with trying to get me help for my situation! Words can’t/don’t express how grateful and thankful I am for the help! Well they help get me off the streets and they're always polite there if I was to recommend anybody David he will be awesome he's an awesome guy and he's helped me so much A little unorthodox but awesome. What people don't understand is they have more than you on their case low sometimes up to 30 people. You just can't sit on your butt and expect them to do everything because I have other people in need everybody's situation is different so let me get off your a** and make it happen .help them help you Excuse my language.

Right away when I walked and I could tell they didn't want to help me, The staff over the phone was completely rude but super nice when I got there. I submitted everything they wanted and they still wanted more every time I would take another piece of paper after a week of deliberation I did get denied after showing proof of all my expenses they tell me I could have figured rent out all the papers that I took in really didn't mean anything because they weren't even accounted for

CHSS has always helped my family but this last experience was the biggest blessing, my case worker was the best, she was kind, attentive, an caring , they did so much, because of their efforts I was able to move into our home, get our deposit for amenities paid for, on top of helping with move in an also gave me resources to fill my home with furniture, they did so much, an always have for my family I will always be very grateful, shoot out to Holly, my case manager there at CHSS she made the process a whole lot less stressful an she was just all around great I couldn't have asked for a better person to handle my case there at CHSS...5 stars hands down.

Sadly they pick and choose Who they wanna help regardless of qualifications & keeping secrets amongst themselves..Director has no idea his employees are causing duress to people in need that clearly qualify & they keep pushing them down on the list going so far as to telling individuals "just give up already". Tgere should be proper background checks on employers..I would post conversations from worker to client but it doesn't allow me! Justice for Yvonne Hill being targeted unjustly in this prigram..smdh
