Iive had an assessment maybe 2 weeks ago. No one has called me not even my case worker. I literally just got off the phone with someone that finally answered the phone and had me talk to my case worker. Which I didn't even know I had yet. Then I gotta come in and discuss what services I qualify for again after I asked what services I needed. I don't get it. But this is yuma

The clinic has both behavioral and physical services. I am happy with both. Both are very thorough and won't leave me hanging. Then too I've gotten next day appointments for things I've needed. The behavioral health doctor found a problem I was not aware of and is in the process of correcting it. This is your one stop, highly recommended facility.

This place is simply just the best mental health facility known to me. The way they diagnose and watch over your needs is inestimable. The facility has always been an eye opener which has always been pleasant and positive. They have gone above and beyond at every opportunity available to them. I don’t understand the negative reviews at all, but it is what it is, I hope this review helps get a better score because I don’t have words to describe everything that CHA has meant to my family and myself. What I’m saying is if your breaking your head about which one to start your journey with this one would be the place. I want to keep writing but to keep this short I will finish here, God Bless and Amen.

(TLDR/ Main Point—- When your mental health professional tells you they want to see if you are going to become truly miserable before trying another med- that should tell you all you need to know about this place.)
Long version: When your life ends up worse AFTER going to them for help… that says a lot about a place. I told her right when I took the first med that the side effects were drastically affecting me. I was told to give it 5-6 months. So I did. Then i told her the side effects are still horrible and she said she didn’t feel like changing it because we had just gotten it “figured out”. (Aka- I would have to be seen monthly again instead of every 3 months and it was inconvenient for her) So I asked.. “What? Do you want me to be miserable first?”. She said “Yes, let’s see if it actually makes you miserable before we change it- I will see you in 3 months”. I stopped taking the meds about 6 weeks after that so it would get out of my system by the next time I went. She seemed frustrated, but put me on another med… told me to take it for the full 4 weeks… So I did. I told her it made me literally sleep the entire time and I could not function- I told her it was affecting my mood, my marriage, etc. I told her anything with a sedative effect hits me stronger, and that I would lose my job if I had to be on something like that. So she put me in another medication- one frequently used as a sedative in the ICU (and in other situations).. This is just one line of events on how I got screwed over. I was also promised on at least 2 occasions that someone would call me about talk therapy- that never happened. In many ways (that I don’t feel like going into detail about)- my entire life was negatively affected by the “care” I received. When your mental health professional tells you they want to see if you are miserable before trying another med- that should tell you all you need to know about this place.

Went in for a scheduled an appointment only to be told the appointment time did not match their calendar. Showed the appointment card with my scheduled time and was told I could come back later. This was not an option for me and felt like a complete disregard for my time. This was my first and will be my last time at CHA. If the office can not be properly managed I have low confidence in any other service and care at this facility.

They did some blood tests on me and did not bill through my insurance even if it was on file. I have tried working with the billing manager regarding the lab billing me with no insurance claim. They asked me to drop off the bill which I have done twice to no avail. Every time I call in to ask for billing questions they transfer me to the wrong person either someone that NO LONGER WORKS THERE or a random number for another office not in this area. The two times I have dropped off of the bill the front office ladies looked at me like I was dumb and I’m assuming the bill never made it to the billing manager in question. I’m probably going to change providers which is unfortunate because the Dr themselves are great.

I don't know how some of these people get their jobs but when someone calls and basically is begging for someone to talk to because they need to not because they are bored and the case manager tells them I'm going to hang up now....what message does that send.....I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOUR MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES!!!!!
Absolutely unbelievable ?
