Not a welcoming place and an inadequate facility for training and instruction. The new Executive Director is not approachable, is rude to staff and clients, and is not willing to listen to concerns from the blindness community. The board is not also open to input from the blindness community and it is apparent in their board meetings. Concerns and complaints have been ignored. Moreover, they are more focused on money from state rehabilitation than quality programs and services.

Michelle is a liar and she has ruined the blind Center and ran it into the ground. That is why I (RF) stopped going there. I was a client there for many years. Michelle is a bad person and the board is just as bad because they let her ruin the blind center. And I don't think it is right that all her friends and family are on the board. Everyone is afraid to speak up about her but I am not. Signed Richard Farnsworth.

Not a welcoming place. My family member stopped going here because they felt unwanted and there was too much drama with the administration. The building is still completely shut down since the beginning of Covid and not providing any activities for clients. It’s pretty obvious they are not wanted there.

Great place for many reasons. but the person at the front counter needs serious people skills especially since he deals with the public. If I was his boss he would be out of a job.
