The fires recently forced me and my family out of a living arrangement. We were unable to go back to said place and retrieve mail proving we lived there. Though I still had different proofs of address proving we had been staying there... It wasn't enough for some reason. They didn't help me and my family who are currently homeless now but I heard the lady in the booth next to me distinctly tell a woman there and I quote don't worry just tell whoever it is that's questioning you that you work here and I'll back your story up. ? That's amazingly hypocritical. Right in front of Miss Moody she said this and at the same time asking me for verification, verification after verification. A government-issued check wasn't good enough and a letter from family to me wasn't good enough and a letter from my attorneys wasn't good enough for some reason. No one likes to say it but I will they enjoy helping out the black and Mexican community a lot but when they see me walk in with a little white boy and a white wife all the sudden all the good food and all the help and resources goes right out the window. Thank you for absolutely nothing!!!

Today, I had appointment with Community Action Partnership Sergio the HVAC technician professional came to examine my Heating and AC unit. Sergio was so professional, courteous and thorough. His expertise was very apparent. I am very grateful. My experience with the staff, Luis, Dory, Tony V and Sergio is heartfelt. I've been through many years without Heating and sufficient cooling. I didn't know what I was going to do. I just didn't have sufficient resources for repairs or replacements. Thank you Sergio! Thank you Tony V. Inspector. And thank you Community Action Partnership! for all you do for our community.

Community action partnership is an excellent resource place. They help you with paying your electric bill.
They also provide food boxes full of staples for your pantry, if you are low on stock. I only receive $79 in EBT assistance, so this is an excellent resource for extra staples.
I highly recommend you reach out to community action partnership and take advantage of their programs.

I was the 1st and only person there at 8am and I was seen within 15-20 min and I was seeking aid for either a hotel voucher ( which they have funding for but no rooms available?) Or housing aid being that I'm presently homeless ( which they only help with 1st months rent) and I was seen and dismissed 5 minutes later so total time there no more than 25 minutes and all I got was a few sheets of emergency resources the girl whom attended me was short and didn't want to hear pretty much anything I had to say and said call 211.

I have schizophrenia (it makes it hard for me to understand documents) and they did not want to answer any of my questions. Instead they made me restart my application.
