I called,made an appointment had my packet all ready filled out. Got an appointment for the next morning cause I had a 48 hours notice. It was so fast , she looked over my packet and made some copies and then told me I was down. They paid my Pg and e bill just that fast . Plus the employee that took my information was very helpful, fast and had a great smile.

This is quite a elpful organization which provides information and actual services, such as food or utilities or home weatherproofing. I have only had positive interactions with this organization. My first uses of their home weatherizing & utility bill assistance were 30 years ago. They have never wavered in giving excellent, knowledgeable advice and performing quality home weatherizing work. At other times, I received a generous financial grant to purchase propane. Their winter home heating assistance options let me choose from three options: propane; firewood; or electric bill payment assistance. Friendly and knowledgeable staff have always been wonderful to engage with. Their office is located in Oroville, but they provide services all over Butte County. I never hesitate to recommend this organization to others.

Community action agency is a very good place for people who cannot help themselves and they're about to get their electricity turned off or anything else. They will help with food and other items and clothing. Thank you, community action agency

A wonderful help after the campfire. Could not afford the rents being charged or wait the amount of time housing would be available. I chose to buy a fixer upper mobile. Community Action helped with some of the needed projects. I’m thankful. Have had a problem with one company they used for ac/heat. Unable to reach a live person at CA so they can be aware of the issue. I know nothing can be done to help but feel it would be helpful for CA in their efforts to vet the companies they use.

Unable to turn in application because Cassandra said a person can only turn in an application with an appointment. I told Cassandra I tried several days and the voicemail to make an appointment was full. She stated they only take 7 applications a day and said keep trying. Horrible service and system!!

I ended up dealing with three different women the first one was extremely short with me and didn't explain things very well and when I returned with the verifications she had asked for I was pleased to hear she had gone on vacation .
The two other ladies in the office were professional and went out of their way to be helpful .

CAA has helped me with many house
appliances. I've had the pleasure of getting help with my pg&e . And Adawna Danl is always polite and knowledgeable . She goes above and beyond to help with applications . She truly deserves a raise even promotion if she cared for one . I would hate to have her leave . She is much needed.
