I've been inspired by my visits to the Commonweal community of compassionate leaders and thinkers. The people here have big hearts, are genuinely curious to find solutions to the big challenges of the day, and are working on cool projects across many disciplines. There are lots of other reasons to come back, including the fantastic food, majestic views (whales! stars!), coyote howls at night, spacious art gallery, unique sand tray room, and amazing programs. I encourage everyone to visit at least once.

It’s a shame that the radio trolls have given bad reviews. Commonweal doesn’t even own the Marconi building, the entire place is National Park Service. Commonweal has an open house once a year where you can learn about all the many things they do, and tour the property. Doing good work in the world!

This is a really beautiful place. It's about a 20-ish minute walk out to the cliffs/the beach, but you're rewarded with amazing views and a very wide, secluded beach area.
