I believe that one time I was walking on a bike trail in the Santa Fe Springs/Pico Rivera area off of Telegraph Rd by the 605 Freeway one hot summer day and I stopped at this big tree to take a rest stop with my shoes off and there was 3 cars driving by on the trail and they saw me and decided to stop because they thought I was a homeless person that was struggling and needed help, but it was an honest mistake. There was a woman in a police uniform (I thought Iwas going to be arrested) but she was really nice and explained to me that they are an outreach program and not there to make arrests. 5 stars for them having their hearts in the right place. I hope they help stop homelessness and get a lot of people who are acctually experiencing homelessness off of the streets and other places and get housing <3

If I could give 0 stars, I would. When I initially called the first woman I spoke with had an attitude off the bat. She did not want to help me whatsoever before I hardly even said a word. I mentioned to her I was currently homeless and looking for any shelter I could find. My location when I called was a mere 2 minutes outside of Anaheim, the city they operate in, yet she told me she was not going to help me find the housing I desperately needed. I told her “i simply don’t understand why you don’t want to help me” and was unaware of why she began treating me like a criminal the second we connected. If you are reading this, you know exactly who you are. I by no means am trying to be rude or arrogant, just hope this is helpful for anyone about to call this service. Go into your call without the expectation of actually receiving help. I forgot to mention: I gotta hold of another woman that was actually kind and helpful after the fact, and she said I would receive a call back with the resources I desired.. only to be called back by the original woman I spoke with, sporting a fake new “good” attitude where she proceeded to tell me to go back to the city of my last permanent address, which is a 2 hour drive away from where I’m currently homeless. Again I don’t want to be rude, but please expect to be treated like trash when you call this “service.”

Inexplicably blatantly unethical. They deceptively have capitalized on a financial crisis that caused a homeless epidemic. No transparency, no desire to fulfill their end of the bargain. Yes you may get put in a room. Only about 8 percent of those people get housing. I do have a substantial amount of information that is more than sufficient to validate these claims. Unfortunately I haven't the time to elaborate but if you wish to know more specifics, just ask on a comment and I'll reciprocate as soon as I can They are far from the pulse of reality and haven't the slightest clue as to the reality of the people they are supposed to help.

I tried to call to help my wife get shelter and was rudely hung up on by Wilma. She wants to be difficult and our lives are already hard enough. She obviously has no sympathy for homeless and she shouldn't be working there since they should be helping homeless not hanging up on them. Wilma is very un professional and should be fired or at least investigated. How many homeless people are still homeless because they were not helped by this Wilma . Shame on you lady!!!!!

My neighbor has a kid who need it help and City Net came with a Van ready to take he kid out the street however the kid refused the help and they insisted to call the organization back 10 times is necessary to help them. They were prompt to the called they explained the process, etc. They were professional, treat the family with respect, empty and patience. They are heroes! Thank you very much for your understanding and help.

I was housed by City Net on an Emergency housing situation Alfredo Garcia made sure that I was housed after living homeless at campsites with weather at 35 degrees and with medical conditions he made sure he placed me in a room before the weekend to take me out of the cold living in a tent with difficult circumstances he wouldn't leave for the day unless he was able to get response from other resources to get housed. I was finally placed in my apartment and I had to be in a room for months before being placed but alfredo and the Hemet team stayed up on making sure I was taken care of. Thank you Alfredo //& team Hemet. 07/05/24😊

I left an abusive marriage 9 months ago and have a permanent restraining order on my husband. I have sole and full custody of our child, going through a divorce with no place to stay. Im fighting a nasty divorce battle, where he's using all his money to pay for attorneys and fight me to not pay anything for child support or our debt. I have exhausted my savings and maxed all my credit cards surviving on my own for 9 months just fighting this divorce with attorneys. I paid to stay in airbns, hotels, rooms; until I exhausted all resources. I was in a shelter for battered women, my child and I got exposed to black mold and became ill. We had to go to the hospital twice within a few days with respiratory issues. The shelter left me and my child on the streets after the fire department came to my unit due to a massive flood. City net came through to help house me and my child. I will never forget this and I am beyond grateful! I want to cry of tears. I feel very blessed for the kindness of their staff. I was crying and scared, and didnt have anywhere to go. City net really took initiative and got me housed. God bless everyone. I want to thank Ally and her supervisor and management team for making this happen for me and my child, especially during the holidays. You guys rock and are amazing!
