I love Child Crisis AZ! I was in the infant program while I was pregnant with my son, and now he is a student. They have small class sizes and a curriculum that supports my son's social, emotional, and creative development. Miss Rosario is an awesome teacher along with her helpers, Miss Stephanie, Miss Flo, and Miss Dawn. My son's favorites are my Family Support Specialist Gabby and Miss Char. Even if you're waitlisted, it is so worth the wait. The support, encouragement, and assistance they provide are unlike any other program I've ever participated with. 5 * for CCA, thank you for everything you've done and do and will do for my entire family. I couldn't have accomplished what I had in such a short time without you!

Beware of Child Crisis AZ โ€“ A Disheartening Experience

I feel compelled to share my deeply troubling experience with Child Crisis AZ, an organization that claims to care about children in need, but does not live up to its own mission statement. From the outset, I was disappointed to see that the majority of the funding this organization receives is being funneled into building new structures and paying exorbitant salaries to upper management EJ Hughes and Kristen Andrews . For instance, while their leadership, including the owner, Tori, is raking in raises of $30,000-$50,000 annually (which can easily be found online google it), the hardworking employees on the front lines are stuck earning 15.00 dollars.

Tori, who makes over $300k a year, continues to promote the organizationโ€™s growth for one reason: to increase her own profits. Thereโ€™s no true investment in the welfare of the children or the communities they serve. Instead, resources are directed toward facilities that are poorly managed, dirty, and unsanitary, putting vulnerable children in harmful environments.

Another alarming issue is the blatant disregard for diversity and inclusion in hiring practices. Tori seems more interested in hiring ASU graduates, rather than considering qualified candidates from lower-income or disabled backgrounds. This lack of diversity reflects a culture of elitism, with no real concern for creating a fair or supportive workplace.

I truly wanted to believe in the mission of this organization, but my experience showed that it is nothing more than a business built on exploiting those in need, while the leadership gets richer. If you're considering working with or supporting Child Crisis AZ, I highly suggest looking elsewhere. They do not stand by their claims, and the kids and families they promise to help deserve so much more than this.

Elsa is a wonderful help when it comes to needing help finding resources for housing. Chelsea is a very talented instructor. I feel very comfortable and at ease while attending parenting classes. My kiddos really enjoy attending the monthly activities that they put on as well.

My Husband and I were reffered to Child Crisis by someone from our church. She has fostered and adopted several children, so we aplreciated her experience so much.

As we finished our orientation and moved on to appointments and classes, we could easily see, that we had made the right choice. Our Adoption Specialist has been so kind and supportive through this process, and everyone we have met is so happy and personable. We loved taking our adoption classes, because the Teachers were so fun!

We eventually had to be assigned to a new Adoption Specialist, because our previous person was diagnosed with a difficult illness. When we met our new agent, we were so happy to find her to be just as kind and supportive. Everyone from Child Crisis, who has been involved in our dream, has made a huge impact on our lives. Our forever family will be eternally grateful.

I tell everone about this agency, from the ladies working at the nail salon, to the person who answers, when I call to schedule a Doctor's appointment.

I've participated in several classes and workshops offered to parents and caregivers free of charge. The organization does a marvelous job creating a calender of wide variety of upcoming program's. Program's that are made even more convenient by being offered at 2 seperate CCA Centers both having ease of accessibility. Central Phoenix and East Mesa locations calanders may differ but the simplicity involved in the registration process makes navigating through your classes of interest a whiz. The day of the class in which you registered arrived you will immediately feel welcomed, accepted and valued for simply attending. A knowledgeable instructor, case works or organization proffesional will guide you through a fact filled, eye opening and interactive presentation. Class participation is always encouraged and supported. At the conclusion you will be presented with a certification of completion of the specific topic covered. Certification serves as tangible proof of the positive strides being taken by each successfully passes program. Additional information and resources are made available. Staff is also present to help with any situations that may require special attention. Childcare is also offered to parent's participating in programs. This is an all over wonderful organization that has had soley positive affects on each dynamic of my family.
