I’ve visited several churches in the area, but when we were invited to come to Chelsea Presbyterian we would have never thought the people we would meet would be such humble God loving people! Pastor James and his wife have been such a breath of fresh air. They both love our community and regularly find ways for the congregation to volunteer. I highly recommend anyone give it a try. Always good food and great company.

After years of visiting churches and never finding a fit for our family, Chelsea Presbyterian was truly a God send. Finally, we found our church home and joined. We are so happy to be a part of this church family. The people are friendly, the brunches are incredible, and everyone is so accepting. James is serious about me, our family, us having a close relationship with God. He and Larissa and committed to making Jesus famous through their teachings, their acceptance, and their every day examples. What a fresh, peaceful experience to be around real. raw people who want to know Jesus better! And, the brisket is just a BONUS!

We loved Chelsea Presbyterian Church from day 1 of visiting. My husband and I found the posting for the church on Facebook after we moved to area. We decided to visit for the church’s very first Sunday service held at Chelsea Middle School. Immediately the church felt like home. Pastor James and his wife Larissa are amazing people and love their hearts for Jesus. Did I mention the food and music is a force to be reckoned with?! Although a young church, they have Sunday school, weekly small group, nursery for the littles and plenty of community events to be involved in. We loved our 3 years at Chelsea Pres until we moved out of the area.

This is Martha Jones posting. Chelsea Presbyterian Church members are all so warm and inviting, with homemade treats and coffee. Preacher weaves stories into his sermons, so one can relate it to their own life. No yelling or fire and brimstone.
The praise music is absolutely amazing.
Go for a visit, you won’t be sorry. Chances are you will be back

My family and I have been blessed to be part of this remarkable congregation since the launch at the beginning of 2018. Our oldest was baptized here and our 2nd will be baptized here this October. Words cannot express how special this church is to us.

Very welcoming, family oriented church dedicated to serving the Lord and community. Messages from the Pastor are insightful and down to earth. The Sunday brunch is awesome and the music is outstanding!

One of the reasons I wish I lived in Alabama is this church. Chelsea Presbyterian's vision is to worship God and to teach others how to worship, love, and serve God. When we're in town, we always look forward to spending Sunday morning with this lovely church family.

Chelsea Presbyterian Church is a family church. Warm and inviting to the older generation which I am part of that group. Sermons are down to earth and helpful for this time in all of our lives. Come and join us for coffee and goodies for body and soul.?
