My daughter has been working with Chris and his team for 2 years. Mostly remote, but we arrange time to go in person as well. Her skills and mental game have improved so much. He really emphasizes the mental aspect of development in the remote lessons. It has helped her make decisions and approach her training with goals. Her skills have grown so much with his help and focus and the staff’s 1:1 attention. The staff is great. Everyone is focused on the growth of the kids and how to healthily help them reach their goals.

We recently did a camp in Northern CA and the emphasis is on the basics and muscle memory before attempting the skill. Can the kid move how they need to move, safely, before drills. Too many kids get put right into drills with balls without learning anything behind the movement. That is not the case with Chris and his staff.

My 12 year old daughter has been doing volleyball training with Ashley and it is one of the best coaching experiences we’ve had. Ashley coaches with the understanding that every athlete is unique with different learning styles. She focuses on proper technique and making sure foundational skills are intact and does not rush through anything. Her ability to tailor her instruction to each individual athlete really maximizes results. I have seen great progress in my daughter since working with Ashley; not only is there progress in her technique but there is also a shift in her mindset. My daughter really enjoys her time training at CPA with Coach Chris! She works on the technical aspects focusing on the little details that allow her to be successful on the court. Coach Chris has many fun and challenging ways to push athletes while helping them stay confident with what they’re doing. I have already seen all the work she does in training be implemented on the court. Beyond the physical and technical aspects, CPA has helped my daughter with the mental aspect of the game. Focusing on leadership skills, consistency and how to get through and adjust to high pressure situations. Overall, working with Chris and the CPA staff has been extremely beneficial for my daughter and her development as an athlete. I highly recommend working with them to anyone who’s looking to improve their game or wants their child to become the best athlete they can be.
