A young Amish woman friend of mine reached out to set up a donation program with this organization and was not even given the courtesy to have a meeting with this organization by the Director.
I am a philanthropic person and am shocked when a non-profit is offered FREE money from a Multi-billion dollar corporation (similar to an Amazon Smile) that this young Amish lady was willing to share with them, and they didn't even give her the time of day to meet with her and hear about it.
It helps me to know what organizations I should donate to and how my money will be wisely spent, obviously not an organization that will not be open to receiving cash donations.
Maybe the people of the Federated Church United Church of Christ who work hard to raise funds for this non-profit will think about inquiring as to why they did not meet with someone from the Amish community who is willing to share a program with them that will give them donations.
