So far, after being g back here for almost 2 years, Center for a NVC, has been more helpful to me in getting assistance for support groups and counseling then the county has. They were quick to help, informative and so welcoming. Which is a much better feeling then being a burden to the state which is what government and county programs typically make you feel like. In a time when you feel the most lost and alone, they are there to make sure you know your not. The woman running the support group in Thursdays is such an amazing person! Kind and super friendly. You are only doing yourself and your life a favor by reaching out for help and if you need it in this county you have it in CNVC!

I am the daughter of 1 of the roommates there I am 14 years old, from my experience as cnvc was like being back at home and that's not a good thing, at this place there was violence, drugs, alchohol and no parenting of the children that were there. I thought they were there to help my mom and my sister and baby brother but they are NOT, this place is not for real, and they do not help they allow adults to drink, come home after 3 days higher then a kite, I seen a 1 year old boy with a vape to his mouth running around. I'm glad were not there anymore. I hate this so called safe home. It's NOT so safe.

My name is Rita and this is my CNVC personal story! ♥️ 15 years ago I was broken, battered and hopeless. A single mom, dragging my children through the vicious cycle of domestic violence and homelessness. Thankfully, by the grace of God I found CNVC. While a resident at the Guardian House I learned how to love myself, display healthy parenting, and aquire stability in a safe environment. My DV Counselor supported and guided me with my own choices to achieve a happy/healthy future for me and my kids! My life is nothing short of amazing today and I couldn't have done it without the help of CNVC!
