I have called them for years I've called for hotel vouchers including when covid happen .... I've called for buss passes .... I've called for housing pretty much everything they offer and they deny me ... they tell me no or they don't have it don't offer it or other places to go.. and lie about there service....I'm a single mom escaping abuse / domestic violence who's disabled and these people are fraud don't contact them there lieing there doing fraud with the donation and money and to people seeking help watch what o say gets taken down I been homeless for years lost everything over never getting help for nothing

Entering a location like this makes you feel embarrassed and it's not cool to be rejected because of the color of your skin. This was my last resort. I called and spoke to over the phone, she was really sweet, but when I got there and she realized I was not Spanish she started making up excuses why she couldn't help me. It was like a slapped in the face! There is a lot of racism here.
Nevertheless, there are photos on the wall that says “love one another”………

These ppl are awesome:-) they serve us homemade breakfast on Saturday mornings from 7-9 am. Very yummy too:-)

I can't say enough how helpful Ms Yvonne was in helping my mother with the Gas Assistance Fund application! She followed up timely, was very understanding and kind. Thank you so much for helping my mother get back on track with her Gas bill. I had seen few negative comments on here before our appointment but in our experience it was nothing but positive! Thank you Catholic Charities 😀

I don't know if the four and five star reviews are honest and true reviews, but I know the experience I had with this facility was not at all what I'm reading in these posts. This facility refused to offer any assistance what so ever, the staff was exceptionally rude, and management doesn't care. Any assistance is more than likely given to families and friends of employees at this facility. In time this facility will be discovered for what they really do, or don't do. Hopefully the utility companies as well as the mega donors will stop funding this facility. They don't deserve to be in operation. This facility should be investigated for misappropriation of funds, if the public is coming in for assistance, and this facility begins bill pay assistance on Monday, and on Monday, the same day, the facility claims they have no funds to assist within hours of beginning dispersing said donated funds, signifiers a major problem. Again, this facility will be discovered, the same way any corrupt business is eventually discovered

I was in need of dire help and Maria at this location was not only friendly but I think she was a one woman this day she was professional and very up front... Highly recommend if you need assistance... Just be patient I think they are short staffed!

Horrible....im so tired of going thru bias treatment, if I spoke Spanish and was a bit lighter. I'd receive more help but this has been going on for years with catholic charities. Nepotism, and Racism. JUST NOT GOING TO END. Even 20 years later
