They all are very cool there from the top management who helped me when I didn't have wifi for ID documentation to the dedicated staff at the windows all the way to the security guard at the door. They offer monthly bags of groceries to cook for a while or a snack bag if cooking isn't an option.

I also went there but the lady at the desk said I need something with a Bakersfield address and my name on to receive a box of food. Security was cool but a discouraging experience

Lady in the front was very rude.. Because I was homeless she gave me a little bag of snacks rather than a can food and bread.. She said that only people with housing get a bigger box.. Sad because I was in a motel with cooking abilities and she didn't want to hear it..

They couldn't help me when I needed help. They never have any funding for anything but the thrift store is nice.

Helped with food baskets bring I.D. and proof of income. But if you don't have it, they won't turn you away. Bring it next time usually alright. Lots of veggies and canned goods.

This place is wonderful to go to when you need food and don't have anymore snap benefits to spend or don't get them at all! They treat you good with respect, and if you just need food it takes 20 mins tops to go in and get out! They always have some frozen items to give out along with the canned items like frozen turkey burgers or frozen chicken or fish, excellent place to go when you have nothing! Too bad it's only once per month!
