My goodness!!! Never, ever, never, never, ever have I had such amazing quality care. Today was my very first appointment (just moved here) as a new patient... and I was blessed with such an amazing woman, Dr. Joefield, on my first visit. I felt she was truly invested in my overall well being and for the first time ever in ALL my past doctor office visits, I felt, not only heard... she both heard my concerns and understood me... my entire visit was right around 2 hours... and you may be thinking that is wayyyyy too long of a visit... but it absolutely was not because it serves as a witness to Dr Joefield's commitment to better understand and help me, as a new patient, and to validate that I'm not just a number ticked on a box but a real person that she is willing to invest her time in to ensure my physical and mental health needs are met to the best of her abilities... hands down, this Dr's office experience has been the best and i feel so relieved that i got so lucky with a Dr that really does seem to actually care! THANK YOU CATAWBA VALLEY FAMILY MEDICINE... Dr. Joefield was amazing but so was all of the staff i interacted with during my visit... xoxo

I wasn't exactly fair about my last review so I do want to apologize to Monica Bradshaw. The only problem I really had is she kept telling me to go back to BH in hickory after telling her numerous times that it wasn't helping. I feel like she didn't really try to help me find a place that was right for me. I felt like she was just trying to push me off on someone else because she didn't want to deal with me, in her defense, I wasn't always easy to deal with. I begged for help for almost a year. It got so bad that I was afraid I was going to hurt myself or someone else. That's why I was begging so hard for help. There's more places out there besides the one she kept pushing me to. She needs to do more research about me talking health facilities. All I was trying to do was reach out to her for help, towards the end she had actually stormed out on me which is very unprofessional. She would say some hurtful things, then dropped me because she didn't want to deal with me. She said she would never drop me and that she'd always be there but she bailed on me when I needed her the most. I've never been so hurt in my life. She is a good person with a good heart and I love and care for her dearly. All of this because I needed help and she could have done that from the very beginning of she only did some research. I never thought she'd do me that way. Word's can't express how hurt I am. She dropped me because supposedly she couldn't help me, but she could have. My advice to all of her patients is don't get too close to her and definitely don't be to open. It'll mess you up every time. Libby Simpson was the best nurse I've ever had. She was definitely good to me and I appreciate her for that. Monica may be good at some things, but mental health isn't one of them. Be careful she gets mad quick and storms out. That's no way to treat your patients. Good luck to you all. At least I'm where I need to be.... FINALLY! people could have died. I could have died. She never got that. If you need help with mental health, go to CTS in hickory on tate Blvd. They know what they're doing. I'm finally in a good place and doing incredibly well.

The front desk folks are very friendly. They make sure you have everything you need before you leave. The nurses are very friendly and helpful. The lab and X-ray folks are great. Dr. Olejarz is the best. She is very personable, knowledgeable and thorough. She takes the time you need and actually listens to you. I like that.

I have no issues with doctors or staff. Dr. Jofield was excellent She listened to all of my concerns and and completely addressed each. I will keep seeing her.

Highly recommend! My doctor is Monica Bradshaw and she’s absolutely fantastic. Listens to all my concerns and helps in any way she can and sees fit. She is the first doctor that has actually helped me. I can’t speak for the other doctors there, but I’m sure they’re just as great. All the staff and nurses are just as amazing and welcoming as well.

My children and I have been going here for almost 8 years now. Dr. Stump is amazing. She is kind, caring and listens. We have seen most of the Physicians here with our sick visits and they all have been so wonderful to us.

I had my first visit here today. From check in to check out was great! Dr Joefield is amazing. She asked so many questions and seemed to be genuinely concerned. She took the time to listen and not just rush me in and out. The office staff was very friendly. I could hear them all laughing and cutting up with each other as I was waiting.
